Not really a surprise ,this bloke is rabidly anti euro(worse that Sirius);) and has donated millions to any euro sceptic organisation or person ,including UKIP and is no friend of the conservatives

Fair play to the Sykes i say ,we need people like Farage in politics ,although i would not like to see him in power issues like immigration and EU membership need to be kept at the forefront of British politics and Cameron needs to be reminded at every opportunity of the promise he made and not allowed to quietly put it on the back burner .The next election will be fought on the EU and immigration

UKIP need people to stand without them they will get nowhere. I was offered the opportunity myself but I have skeletons which the gutter press would have no problem exposing so I would be of no use to them.

All MP's have got previous. It depends how much you pay the press to keep off your back.

Paul is a decent bloke used to know his dad as he went in the local working man's club. He used to own about half the pubs in the town centre as well.

Maybe its because you dared to voice an opinion that the EU is not the root off all Evil and we must leave immediately not matter what the cost.

More likely that the news that Sykes is backing UKIP isn't such big news and not such a blow to Cameron and the conservatives as people think ;)

Camerons private member bill shows how much of a blow UKIPs popularity is to him anyway anything else is icing on the cake

The only thing Cameron has to do is to not underestimate how strongly the general public feel about the EU and immigration ,i think most people realise that UKIP are no where near ready to run the country

We're not going to get one anyway, the only way we'll get one is if Dave thinks he'll win it
