Man prevented from killing David Cameron the PM.

A paranoid schizophrenic who drove to London with a 950,000 volt stun gun and other weapons in his car told police he was on his way to kill the Prime Minister, a court has heard.

The idiot went the wrong way down a one way street.

What a shame he failed. And what a pity that Red Ed and Clegg weren't going to be in the same room as Cameron as well.

No you'd have put Dave, he likes it and insists that we all call him it after all

I did. I put Dave.

I don't suppose they'll let the taxi man have another go, will they?

No, he doesn't insist that at all - what he actually said during a radio interview with Richard Bacon in 2006 was
Quote:

Lots of people call me Dave, my mum calls me David, my wife calls me Dave, I don't really notice what people call me.
But don't let facts spoil your prejudices.....;)

Dave is reported to be known to friends and family as "Dave"

We're all Dave's friends and family.

he just got a bit grumpy when he wanted to hug the hoodies and they responded to his advances by having a riot on his watch.

Facts don't 'suit' anyone - facts are facts, not just vituperative statements that support prejudices.

The fact quoted above is not pro-Tory, just stating what was actually said - I suppose anything that doesn't agree with your viewpoint is 'pro-Tory'....

No ones suggesting facts aren't anything other than facts, just your slavish use of them to toe the party line or stick up for a.certain party, it'd be nice if you had a little moan at Dave, Gideon and their chums just once and I wouldn't be calling me biased, I dislike most politicians from most parties equally.

It is a fact that Mr Cameron said that.

If true, happy to hold my hands up to being wrong - any linkies to back it up?

As I quoted above, all I could find was "people call me Dave", which is not the same as "call me Dave" (even though three of the words are the same....).

Re: Man prevented from killing David Cameron the PM.

I'm sure I saw him on the tele when he first came out with his shirt sleeves rolled up. and he said "Call me Dave"

I remember, because that was the moment I thought what a prat.

that's the quote I posted - he wasn't telling people to call him Dave, he was saying his wife calls him Dave.

My wife calls me a number of things, but I don't ask others to call me those things.....:D
