New Faces on the VM forums?
 

I see the mods now have faces - I guess VM are desperately trying to make it personal to keep people?

Considering the way a lot of them power trip I'm surprised they want to show their faces!

Sorry but you have no clue what you are talking about as they have a job to do and in my opinion they do a pretty good job with what they have to cope with.

It's s useful forum particularly where community members help splve other members' problems.

Virgin has been trying to make it "personal" for a long time now. A lot of what they train and do is focussed on keeping things casual and friendly. It's not such a bad thing having a face to a name.

Another stupid comment. The VM Techs on the forum didn't raise the prices. You should take your beef up with the faceless ones.

I never said they raised the prices, nor am I'm blaming them for it. You have jumped to those conclusions based on nothing. I said seeing their faces appear at the same time as a price increase makes me angry, which it does. I laid no blame for that at anyone, however.

It is not "stupid" at all, it is called having emotions. It is a fact that seeing their faces does not endear me to them and actually has the opposite effect, because I don't want to see someones smiling face laughing at me as they state the latest estimated fix date has been pushed back yet again while at the same time the prices are increasing for the second time this year.

I am not angry at the forum staff, nor leveling any bad feelings towards them personally. I am simply stating an opinion that the way the forum staff are now presented makes me angry. I don't have to justify my feelings

Your justification is absurd and the fact that you can't justify them proves that it is, indeed, stupid. It's just a forum avatar, it's not a big deal.

I suppose you would get upset at the bouncing cat if I was posting in a serious topic.

Simple reason - it's because they are now a dedicated forum team, and are in the same part of the business as the Social team (Facebook / Twitter) who have the same kind of photos.
