NFL/NCAA College Football 2013

As we are nearing the start of both seasons I thought I would start a new thread.
I am looking forward to a stellar season from the Bears under their new coach, whether this this happens remains to be seen.
As a Hokies (VirginiaTech) fan I am also hopping for championship season in the ACC.

Hoping Broncos can go one step further this year and actually do something in the Playoffs. Oh and consistency is the key for them as well.

Will Tim Tebow get another shot in the NFL ? It's a crying shame to see one of the University of Floridas leading quarterbacks without a team , he was immense in his time at the Gators.

Got the Broncos game on tape right now, so will not be on this thread until tomorrow night, when I have watched the game.

British Eurosport to show Monday Night Football.

http://www.nfluk.com/opinions/articl...ht-football-uk

They're apparently going to use the original US broadcast, including the studio segments like ESPN used to.

Unfortunately, Tebow does not fit a pro style offense. He has a suspect action when throwing the ball. So this was a likely scenario from day one.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/othe...ll/3192002.stm That explains it quite easily. I don't have a favourite team but I used to love watching it when Ch 4 first started showing it.

Thanks mate. I haven't obviously understood it all from one read but I did think the rules would have been more complicated than that.

COME ON THE BRONCOS! Excellent start to the season, hoping it can carry on for rest of season and hopefully a Superbowl win.

I have to say they are looking a powerful set up this season, with Peyton back to his best.

The more games you watch, will enable you to pick up the finer points in the game.:)

Yeah, Manning is looking very strong. If he can stay injury free and on a hot streak then I reckon Denver have got to be a shoe in for the Superbowl this season.

To early for that my friend you should know there are so many variables in the NFL before you get to the big game. But good luck will help.:D

More good news for NFL fans next season there will be three games at Wembley, home teams will be the Jags, Raiders and Falcons, no opponents have been announced yet. The popularity of the sport is certainly on the rise after two sellout games this season, long may it continue.http://www.nfluk.com/opinions/articl...es-london-2014

Looking forward to the playoffs, hopefully Denver can go on and win the Superbowl this year. Already told where I did my work placement that if they call me back in January I will be watching the Superbowl if Denver are in it so will not be able to work that Monday.

I feel that it is one of the most open playoffs ever this year. I cannot see a clear Favorite, although in the AFC its hard to argue against Payton leading his boys to the Superbowl.
The NFC is a lot more complicated with the chance of shocks in next weeks wild card games
I shall enjoy every game no matter what.
Just about got over the Bears conceding the game in the last minute, but hey I 'm a realist and there defense is shocking.

Re: NFL/NCAA College Football 2013

Broncos seem to do better when I don't watch them live. Every time I stay up to watch them on SKY or 4 or even record it, they seem to lose. So will not watch any playoff games until the Bowl if they make it there.

Talking of which, I forgot AGAIN to call the NFL Euro shop to ask about exchanging my top for a size smaller. Bought an XXL top and it is massive on me. Need an XL shirt.

If I'm honest I fancy the 49ers in the NFC.

Re: NFL/NCAA College Football 2013

Thought it was time I reignited this thread now that we are six weeks into the season.
My Bears are all over the place one good game, one bad one.
There was a surprising home loss this week when Americas team went to the super bowl champions and won.
Denver are looking good again this season along with Green Bay who had a bad start. For me the two surprises are the Eagles and Dallas who are off to a fast start, as divisional rivals the two games they play against each other will be very interesting.
Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Re: NFL/NCAA College Football 2013

Manning and his boys took a bit of a licking last night. In a fine display of all around football the Patriots beat Denver. Looks like there is another team in the AFC capable of going all the way. The Cardinals(7-1) put on another impressive display to win at the Cowboys.
It looks like Rothesburger at the Steelers has found his mojo again to throw back to back six touchdown games.
The Rams caused the upset of the night beating the 49ers. This season is bubbling along nicely apart from my Bears who seem in disarray.
