Re: Worthless Coins
5p coins can be dropped, they are utterly useless, and easily lost.

---------- Post added at 09:20 ---------- Previous post was at 09:17 ---------- Oh and in the meantime I actually try to give the right change from my purse to the annoyance of all the young whipper snappers in the queue behind me, instead of breaking a new note every time or even a pound coin. |
Re: Worthless Coins
I got turkish coin the other day its like a £2 coin. slightly Lighter little thinner it is. You just dont realise until you look at it.

I would make the 5p the lowest denomination coin in the UK. |
Re: Worthless Coins
COPPER! you're having a larf mate! They might look like copper, but get hold of a magnet and wave it over the top and just see how they stick to it like S**t to a blanket!
Seriously -one thing I guess would happen though, is that traders would profit from rounding up their prices, I.e. no more of this £1.99, etc. What I'd like to know is how petrol stations can charge prices based in fractions of a penny, E.g. £1.32.9p per litre - I've never seen this anywhere else how come they can get away with this?? Si thee :Sprint: |

Watch from 14 minutes 6 seconds in. I had a chuckle watching this the other night. It's funny that it's being mentioned here today. |
