I'm a local and Brit supporter through and though, but in both sports I have great admiration for the Aussies.

How many seasons do you think Rossi has left in him?

It was quite a shock when Casey Stoner retired and moved to the Dunlop V8 Supercar Series.

How many seasons do you think Rossi has left in him?

Perhaps 2 or 3 years if he is still enjoying it.

Stoner retired from Moto so young I wonder if the Simoncelli accident affected him to a degree that he thought 'I love doing this but what's going to happen at the end of the day?'

It could have affected him but there are risks in every form of Motorsport.

I can't wait until the new MotoGP and Superbike season starts, I think it's going to be a really interesting season. Hope all the British riders do well, and it will be good to see if Vale gets his Mojo back on the Yam.

This fab weather today makes me wish I had a bike again too.

I'd go for a bit of that too.

Cracking performance by Brit riders in all 3 classes yesterday. Great racing by all riders in dodgy conditions of Le Mans

Yet he's now gonna race after surgery..

Would be surprised if the course officials let him or at very least make sure he's physically OK with their own doctor

Good news for Jorge. The wife supports Rossi while I support Lorenzo. These two have had some good battles in the past, but it seems Rossi`s lost the edge since his stint with Ducatti. I hope Cal can get on the podium, he deserves it.

Re: 2013 MotoGp and Speedway seasons.

What a cracking race that was especially in the closing stages.

Great to see Vale back on the top spot, great ride by Cal to grab 3rd and there aren't enough words to sum up how impressive Jorge was.

Have to admit a few seasons ago I thought Jorge was a real tool, but as he's matured I think he's become a much more likeable guy.

Re: 2013 MotoGp and Speedway seasons.

Agree with that, It was unexpected, but good to see the Doc back on form, much to the wife's delight, Jorge put up a bloody good show too. Top marks for Cal.

Cal bites Bennetts

Quote:

HERE'S one guaranteed way to annoy a rider you sponsor: start spreading rumours about them.

That's what happened when Bennetts tweeted a rumour that Cal Crutchlow was going to Ducati. Just twenty minutes after the tweet, Crutchlow bit back.

It's been circulating since Thursday but yesterday Cal Cruthclow confirmed on Twitter that he'll be riding a Ducati next season. Pol Espagaro will take his place in the Tech 3 team while Cal take the spot vacated by Nicky Haden's departure at the end of the season.

Scott Redding is also moving up to MotoGP, he's hoping to secure the Moto2 title this season from Pol Espargaro.

Another Brit in the top tier! :)
