Probably best known for Death Wish movies, and in recent years a few dodgy insurance ads "calm down dear ...."

Couldn't stand him on those insurance adverts, but a shame he has died. Been expecting it really, last time I saw him on TV he looked really ill.

What a shame :(

I quite liked the Guy, as well as his movies I liked his outspoken style.

RIP.

He certainly left his mark. He has an attitude about him kinda strange like a snob stuck inside a comman man

I liked him if only for the way he often annoyed militant feminists :D

RIP.

He always came across as sanctimonious, condescending and pompous- not sure if he was like that in real life as I never met him personally.

I take it you forgot who you were posting about midway through your post!

There's probably quite a few people in the public eye that could be accused of behaving in a similar fashion, but this thread is dedicated to the late Michael Winner ;)

I don't think it's appropriate to mock those with memory issues.

Sorry if I got hold of the wrong end of the stick. I am in a great deal of pain at the moment and am on strong painkillers, which has made my thinking a bit fuzzy.

What is the situation and how is it connected to the death of Michael Winner? I'm not sure what's going on

I know it's about the late Michael Winner, i'm not that bad, at least not yet :D

I meant that I didn't understand what Mick Fisher was laughing at if he wasn't mocking those with memory loss issues? I don't understand

Leave such issues for the CF Team. You know this.

Stop discussing off-topic matters relating to PMs, complaints to the Mod Team or childish nonsense. Now.

I wonder if there are to be any tribute programmes and/or film showings. Anybody?
