Sky on demand
 

Just done a customer survey from VM and one of the questions asked was am I aware of (amongst other things) Sky on Demand.

I have not come across it and cannot find it on my V+ box. What is it?

It's in the Catchup section, under TV for XL, M, etc. and then By Channel then should be under US Boxsets.

Sky Movies on demand are also available when you sub to the channels.

Again we have a customer who is unaware of things available to them . VM need to beef up the communications with customers.

Trouble is at the moment it's a bit difficult with two seperate interfaces.

VM do have a whole 'Discover' site that includes details on Catch Up http://my.virginmedia.com/discover/t.../catch-up.html and where to find Sky programmes http://my.virginmedia.com/discover/t...emand/sky.html

Or, just tune into any Sky tv channel and press the red button. It works just the same on all boxes, not just TiVo, and allows you to see all the Sky On Demand for that channel.

My brother didn't know he had Virgin Anywhere or TCM HD until I told him.

Do you have to have TiVo for virgin anywhere? Or is it available to V+ customers on VIP?

Tv anywhere is available to everyone, regardless of box and package.

Can V+ customers access SKY Movies and SKY Sports on demand in HD or is that still limited to TiVo customers?

Is the entire Sky Movies library available in HD on TiVo or just select titles?

It appears some things are only available in SD and some only in HD. Here is the last page of the HD and SD Comedy sections.

Do you know if it's a contractual problem deciding which movies aren't available in SD/HD or a server side issue?

Well, "Wilbur Wants To Kill Himself" is only in SD on Sky too.
Although "Wild Hogs" is in both SD and HD on Sky as are all the others shown.
