Yes. just wanted to make sure you were ready for it.

I'd say the unemployed will kick start it first.

Perhaps the councils should use some of their reserves, which have been growing, even during financially restrictive times?

BBC
Quote:

English councils have increased their reserves by £4.5bn over the last five years to almost £13bn, despite cuts to funding, the Audit Commission has said.

The public spending watchdog found councils had a total of £12.9bn set aside - the equivalent of nearly a third of their spending on services....

....In its report, the Audit Commission found that between 2007 and 2012, 77% of councils in England had increased their reserves relative to their spending and 26% had more than doubled them.

Council reserves grew by 36% in real terms over the five-year period, the watchdog said.

Society has been split into 2 segments. those who work, and those who don't work.

those who work hate those who don't.
those who don't work, hate those who do.

you have the government who can pick on those who don't work with the backing of those who do work.

bad idea to split the two. because as Harry Hill will say.. FIGHT!!!!

Working.

same as a disabled person would fit into the scrounger part. when deciding if they are in need or a scrounger.

this is how the game works. I've been watching.

those who do not work do not give a toss about those that do . Those that do work are brain washed into thinking everyone who does not work is a scrounger and are to blame for the state of the country

True. I think that's what Dave's intention was and is.

of course it is . The clever man sees through it.

Being part of the EU allowing any EU member to move here and work there is an issue

Illegal immigration another issue

Government being puppets for big business this is a major issue as this keeps tax loopholes open losing the country far more revenue than the real benefit cheats ( who are actually a hell of a lot lower in number than some think)

Banks running economy. Low interest rates. sky rocketing energy prices

there are not jobs for everyone so someone has to be unemployed anyone who do not realize this are living in cloud cuckoo land

as a species we are a victim of our success we are living longer we have medicine more and more people are old than ever before the population is way to high. The world needs a war or a plague then it will sort itself out

---------- Post added at 15:50 ---------- Previous post was at 15:42 ----------

I can quantify the figures

there are 2.5 million unemployed in the UK not including the sick and disabled

there are 476 000 jobs unfilled so even if all the jobs available were filled there would still be 2 million unemployed. Are they a scrounger if there is not a job for them? Imagine when the ESA is finished? how many more unemployed will there be?

You have to wonder if there's an ulterior motive as to why. it's like when Dave first came in he was and still does talk about what he's going to do in the next term.

he won't be in next term. Labour will.

it's almost as if there's a master plan somewhere. we had civil unrest when the tories were in before. so I suppose he's just carrying on a tradition and the only motive is to make sure he goes down in history as a right pillock.

Labour will not and can not solve this without a pair of balls. Neither party will ever give us a straight YES NO vote on the EU it will cost them to much in support from businesses the whole system is corrupt . Polititions are mean't to represent us but all they represent is themselves and all they are interested in is maintaining the status quo

They follow the whip... don't do as you promised, do as the party tells you. Anyone voting on local issues is going to be sorely misled... as always.

No matter who you vote for, a politician always gets in.....
