Tivo apps

Hi guys,

Can anybody give me a complete list of Tivo apps.

On VM website i see Youtube, Facebook, Ebay, iPlayer and TV Anywhere, is that it??

I was waiting for Netflix and Lovefilm to launch before upgrading my V+ box but it's a moot point now as my TV broke and i bought a Samsung SmartTV which has those apps.

Think VM completely missed the boat here as i'll probably never upgrade now, especially if i have to pay anything.

:(

The apps are pretty much a waste of time on TiVo.

Usually just promotional stuff, the eBay app you can't even login too!!

I have a Samsung Smart TV too, to be honest I would use that before the TiVo as has a much better range of apps!

To be honest you've listed the main ones. There is an app for BBC sport, the weather and movie trailers that are fairly good. The rest are pretty much all games you've got to pay to play. If your Samsung Smart TV is anything like my LG smart TV then the apps you've already got access to are much better than those offered by Virgin via TiVo.

The Apps on TiVo are a waste of whatever they use. Better scrapping them - Hangman for instance REALLY!

The apps promised so much and delivered so little. They are a big disappointment when they could have been something that really set VM apart from the competition.

Summed up perfectly.

I can only assume that Virgin believed from the outset that they would be able to fill their TiVo with the kind of apps available in the States, only to run into difficulties because they are a cable operator and their box isn't a standalone product. I'm quite convinced that Cindy Rose wouldn't have made the claims that she did if she didn't believe them, at least at the time.

The BBC News app is a decent one amongst a batch of timewasters. YouTube is a disappointment.

Right I've returned to VM has this app list got any better yet?

I don't get my box until 23.05.

What apps are currently on TiVo?

Re: Tivo apps

The are currently 29 apps which is probably less then you had last time and apart from about 5 apps the rest are pretty useless in my opinion.
