ish dude. I am in Lincoln and have just woke up. I am getting full speed but it is very sluggish and webpages are taking a few secs to load. MSN wouldn't connect first 2 tries and I still can't get into hotmail. Something dodgy is a foot.

I'm in south Sheffield & can't get into any MS site, having issues with some US sites though not all, phoned VM & they aren't yet aware of any issues, there is another guy in the official Virgin Media site with the same problems with msn.com etc. :)

Re: virgin internet down in newark area

ebuyer.com still fails in LN1.

dns lookup succeeds in ping tool but reports 100% packet loss.

Something is seriously borked methinks.

Same here no ebuyer.com, also some PC mag sites I frequent are broken or partially broken (pcadvisor.co.uk) Others are having the same problems on the official Virgin Forum with MS sites

I have this problem too with Microsoft sites.
Broadband here has been in complete disarray since last Thursday !! even tho service status reported 'good' every time we looked. I spent several hours on the phone to CS, and was told they won't guarantee it's fully back in operation until Wednesday (been promised 5 days credit on the bill).
Internet working this morning, but can't use Microsoft Live Messenger, and can't access any other MS sites either (except I have been able to get Hotmail).

Just tried, and I cant access ebuyer either.

Re: virgin internet down in newark area

I can get straight to ebuyer via my private tunnel VPN but still not in the normal way. Ditto outlook.com

It's my B&B experience showing I guess. I'm forever forgetting to reconnect the TVs after pushing Henry around.

Yeah but they put 150 customers in each room, and to get into the room you have to use a SuperDoor, which often gets jammed, doesnt lock and often falls off its hinges
