Re: 100Mb in Uddingston
Cool stuff, did you pay to get onto the 100mb or is it the "free" upgrade?
|
Re: 100Mb in Uddingston

|

Re: 100Mb in Uddingston
Okay so your paying for 100/10 but only getting 100/5 Makes sense....
|
Re: 100Mb in Uddingston
no coz my 50mb was £45/mo too so
|
Re: 100Mb in Uddingston
I thought Uddingston could provide the faster uploads now with the upload going up the other month. Or is it that they would charge more for that?

Re: 100Mb in Uddingston
Phoned up just there and they guy was great said not sure about area but I said that my neighbour got it no problem and he looked at my area and before he even told me it was done, my router (Apple Time Capsule) had restarted and I was on 100Mb. Said it was free and offered me a superhub but advised the router I had was better and to keep mine. If I wanted one he would send one and if I changed my mind and wanted one just to call. Downloading at full speeds from newsgroups and speed test confirmed! :-)

Re: 100Mb in Uddingston
You only get 10meg upload if your area has been given the double speed uplift

The guy was more than happy to let me keep my VMNG300 running with my Apple Time Capsule and I am downloading solid at 12.62MB/s from newsgroups right now. |
Re: 100Mb in Uddingston
Did you get 10mbit upload or stuck on 5? As I think the OP managed to get 10mb upload.

Will VM be aiming for 10:1 after they upgrade each area? eg configuring for 13Mb upload to assure 10Mb. |
