Banned from VM support forum
Just been banned from VM's support forum for highlighting the £5 TiVo increase for existing customers. They said it was Spam. I politely queried this and have been banned. A sad state of affairs , they can't possibly hope to keep this price rise quiet can they ?
Looks like you'll have to put up with me here ;) Lucky you..... |
Re: Banned from VM support forum
do they think banned one person from a forum will stop people finding out about a price rise. Even a few penny increase and people will notice when they look at their bank statements. Money is tight...

Re: Banned from VM support forum
Actually there was no guarantee it wouldn't happen. 'Whilst we reserve the right to review and change our prices' was the caveat to the retraction this afternoon which means it meant nothing.
It's obvious they intend to get all customers on a £5 TiVo charge at some point. Neil B's words were :- And in 12 months time, as current TiVo customers roll off their first 12-month contract, they will migrate from GBP 3 to GBP 5. When that happens is now open to question, hopefully they've been embarrassed enough to postpone it for now. |
Re: Banned from VM support forum
I wondered how you would spin it........

Re: Banned from VM support forum
No we would never do that as most of us are really nice people but we do all have our own opinions on things.

Re: Banned from VM support forum
Mr K, it seems strange that a thread on the same topic as the one you raised is still open, and it's author not banned - what was the difference between your thread and his?

I had posted on the same story in the prices thread, however i thought the issue was worthy of a thread on its own right so i started one and they said this was spam and pulled it. After my thread was pulled, somebody else resurrected the same issue so they couldn't say it was spam as somebody else posted it. I then (politely) queried why the original was pulled and i was banned, presumably for daring to query the issue. All smoke and mirrors, they unsuccessfully wanted the communications c*ck up buried. I see that thread is now locked too. That is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth your honour. |

Thank you for the explanation - much appreciated.
