Yep. Think Auntie Beeb's got a problem there. SD channels are OK.

Who???,on topic though I watched the game on Sky HD and there was an echo on the commentary for about the first ten minutes then it cleared up so I take it was a BBC thing rather than a Virgin Media problem.

Even with this being a BBC fault, should I still be turning Dolby off on BBC hd?

I'm not a football fan but last night on Freeview alternative commentaries were on offer. One was on the normal channel and an alternative was available on one of the red button channels. This was only available in SD of course. I'm guessing this is something new for the BBC? Virgin Media viewers didn't have the choice as far as I know.

I don't seem to be getting Dolby through on my AV receiver on BBC1 HD. Other channels are fine. Do i need a reboot?

I noticed that I had lost Dolby Digital on the HD football too. On further checking my Tivo would only output pcm irrespective of HD channel. I checked in settings and this was still as it should be. Cycled the setting anyway to no avail. In the end it was a reboot that got it working OK again. No other functionality of the Tivo had been affected.
