Not sure "love" is the right word but it's only when you try and use wireless broadband at a friend or family members house that you realize just how fast and reliable my VM broadband really is,so much so that you take it for granted that web sites load straight away, download speeds are exceptional etc, etc,so keep up the good work VM (now you just need to convince me TiVo is better than Sky HD+),sorry couldn't resist :D:D

Re: Why I love Virgin Media

I neither love nor hate Virgin Media. If they provide me a service I consider acceptable they will retain my business, if they fail to do this they will rapidly lose my business. I don't love or hate them because I've no emotional attachment to them. I give them money and they give me services.

I'm no more likely to love them than I am my electricity, gas or water suppliers :)

You have up to 50Mb FTTC available? Cool, the rest of us have 40Mb, going to 80Mb next year. Bet if you got it you'd get 40Mb though even if the checker guesstimates 30 :)

I would have to agree with your statement they are a service supplier nothing more.

Possibly right, but you are missing the point of this thread, I was just trying to be positive about cables services unlike another one where the word Liar has been used:erm:

I had to laugh the other day I had the peanut shape TiVo remove upside down and instead of winding through the adverts of a recording I went back to the beginning:dunce::D

Re: Why I love Virgin Media

I love them because they are a viable alternative to a company that I don't want to give my money to, and who as good as told me they no longer wanted to take it. I love them because I secretly like American stuff and now I have cable and a Tivo. And I love them because since the super hub update I have an excellent fast and stable broadband service that knocks spots off anything else currently available in my area.

Re: Why I love Virgin Media

I love them because they give me broadband which works unlinke my BT line which gave me <0.5mb and when I upgraded to TIVO they let me keep my V+ for free!

I'm no longer a VM tv customer bit I like VM because they genuinely offer an alternative set of tv packages.

+1

BT could only offer me 1MB over their lines not good! VM give me what i am actually paying for.

And also now i am upgrading to TiVo they are letting me keep my V+ for free multiroom .:)
