Youtube Help
Hi All,
I have had the TiVo update like everyone else and I am pretty new to TiVo but I had the box a week or 2 before the update and the Youtube app was different. Since the update the app has completely changed and I cant access my youtube account etc, is there something different i need to do etc? Any help would be great as I miss not be able to watch stuff off my account etc. Ta:confused: |
Re: Youtube Help
Yes the app changed as Google made a new version. I hope they will eventually add all the account features.

I think you could be waiting a while for reminders (late 2012 ) |

Re: Youtube Help
I think the YouTube app on TIVO is the same as the YT app on other connected devices , as my LG 3DTV has the same one.

Re: Youtube Help
The one before the update (the red one) was better in my opinion... With the new one, the videos don't even load half the time!

MOD search is more important than reminders IMO. |

Re: Youtube Help
We all know how swift Virgin Media are at "looking into it".
They're f'n stupid if that info is true. Leave the old YouTube app alone, it's doing no harm there being two and people often prefer the old one. |
Re: Youtube Help
The new one is actually unusable.

Re: Youtube Help
Its not that bad, the autoplay after your done with a video is annoying but otherwise I find it better than the other one.

Re: Youtube Help
The new YouTube app is far more buggy than the old one, which is why the old one should stay.
