The channels I do not want are , ARY Qtv, ARY Oneworld, ARY Entertainment, ARY News, Pick TV +1, Sky 3D, Bliss, Chart Show TV, Dance Nation TV, Flava, Kix!, POP, Pop Girl, Pop Girl +1, , Horror Channel +1 , The Vault, Tiny Pop +1, DMAX +1, DMAX +2, Quest +1, Diva TV +1, SAB, Sahara One, STAR Gold, STAR One, Absolute 90s, MTV +1, ZEE Café, Zing, NHK World HD, Russia Today, Movies4men, Movies4men +1, Movies4men2, Movies4men2 +1, Al Jazeera English, fox news , Disney Junior + , France 24, NDTV 24x7, Channel 5 +1 , CBS Reality +1

Well theres a few on there that I like and theres a few I dont but just because I dont like them doesnt mean that they shouldnt broadcast them.

I didn't even know they were available on VMTV :dunce:

But then again I only tend to watch about 8 channels regularly, and another 1 or 2 very occasionally. And of those most are free-to-air terrestrial channels.

If i had to choose between ITV 2 +1 ITV 3 +1 ITV 4 +1 and ITV 2,3,4 HD.

I would rather have ITV 2,3,4 HD.

It's unconfirmed idle speculation at best, hardly evidence that what you said is true.

Think about it logically, if you can. What sense would it make for ITV to suddenly drop their +1 channels? It's hardly a lot of outlay to have a timeshifted version, and it most likely increases viewing figures especially in cases where people don't have PVRs.

And FYI, I have glasses. Also a hefty dollop of common sense, something you'd do well to look into acquiring.

True that was just a guess doing by past experiences ie More4 +1

Channel 4 took off More4 + 1 and put Channel4 +1 in it's place.

It wouldn't hurt to say you're guessing, or reposting speculation, so people aren't misled by you stating something as a fact when it's far too early to say. If I'm ever unsure the phrase "I could be wrong" goes a long way.

A Good 75% of the total output on XL ! guess we watch no more than 10
( add in +1 & sub channels ie More 4 etc) and it is around 12 to 14 of them.

However I understand that just because I have no interest in them it does not mean other people don`t.
Live & let live I say. Unless ( & I accept this will NEVER happen) It was priced per channel dividing the number on XL by the cost would mean pennies per channel per month :erm: & can I be paid to watch QVC please!!!!:p:

Hmmm. Porn channels have always been disappointing, in my experience. Also remember that TiVo (at least) monitors viewing habits, and maybe it's me just being paranoid but I always envisage a scene like this. I mean, I don't find them attractive, it's just confusing... :D

Why can't we have both more +1 channels, More HD channels and more channels in general!

Apart from a improvment in the tv channels list, Virgins service is very very good!

Virgin Media TV service is already good

It just needs 15 more HD channels and it would be even better.

I have a feeling that will happen next year as apart of the 80 HD channels target.

The email i got from peter chapman said they were on track for 80 HD channels target and the electric magazine said "watch this space"

I think next year will be a very good year.

The HD channels that virgin media need are that ones that are on Sky.


I Do not count the 5 HD channels that are being witheld/high price by Sky and i do not count Sky Movies Box office HD1 and Sky Movies Box office HD 2.

So i get 51 HD channels.
