It was also totally illegitimate and illegal.

At least, that was what lawyers from the UK argued during a debate at Philadelphia's Ben Franklin Hall.

Yup. It would therefore follow that they never actually gained Independence! So, who should we appoint President of newly returned colony? :D

President? There'll be no more of that republican nonsense. They now have a Queen, and she can appoint a Governor General when she gets back from Australia. They seem to like the arrangement over there. :D

Well, as long as we decide, they have been quite erratic with their choice of leaders. Lucky we are back to set things straight. :gpoint:

Have you seen the size of an average US Aircraft carrier? I have. They can never tie up in Portsmouth Dockyard and have to moor out in the Solent. Our now non existent aircraft carriers will have real trouble going up against just one of them let alone a fleet.

We simply go over there, point out that Independence was being revoked due to errors with their paperwork, and reclaim our stuff. :)

That's because the French helped them last time. I can't see them doing it again. Without help, the colonies are as good as ours. :D

With all due respect we underestimated them at the time.We would be stupid to assume that a country that believes in every citizen having the right to bear arms would be a pushover.:erm:

I don't foresee violence! Surely they will see this whole experiment of theirs didn't really pan out and that it's better if we make their decisions for them.

They will welcome us back with open arms :D.
