RIP Steve watching some of his media presentations the man was a public speaking genius with often witty interludes.

Not bought any of Apples products (aside from a few I-tunes) but the man was a genius and will be much missed.:(

A classic American startup, working with Woz from a garage to create his dream. A man of unique imagination and ideas.

Sleep peacefully Steve.

Also don't forget it was Steve that helped make Pixar what it is today. If he hadn't bought the company off Lucas then there would be no Pixar as we know it.

Apple have put their flags at half mast today and Microsoft have done the same.

Lots of tributes from around the world, Bill Gates, The founders of Google, President Obama and many from the world of music and film.

Good article from Walt Mossberg about jobs:

Lastly, This one from the co-founder of Apple, Wozniak:

A fitting tribute to Steve Jobs, perhaps it should be a new logo?

I do like the image but it would make apple 10x more cultish than it is now.

*sigh*

The Westboro baptist church have decided that they are going to protest at his funeral. Aside from everything else they decided to announce this to the world by twitter, via an iPhone :dunce: obviously irony doesn't translate well to religious nutters.

Never bought anything Apple (too expensive) but I won't deny they were/are cutting edge products and well thought through before hitting the market. I borrowed an Ipad once and it was pure genius.

Jobs was a true pioneer not just of technology but marketing too and I hope he inspired many youngsters to follow. As mentioned previously, he was also a first class presenter.

RIP
