No news channels HD or SD are set to launch on Virgin Media anytime soon (AFAIK)

But Virgin are in talks with ITV for ITV2 HD, ITV3 HD and ITV4 HD to launch on Virgin.

I did not put Eden HD, Good Food HD, Dave HD, Watch HD on this poll because they will be on Virgin Media very soon and Alibi HD we be launching in 2012

I voted for ITV 4 as there is now quite a bit of sports coverage on that channel some if not all in HD,ESPN america,and History.

Sky sports HD3/4 would be good as subs that just take sky sports HD, only get two HD channels for their cash HD1/2.:)

you are right ITV4 HD has got good sports coverage and i think it is better than ITV2 HD ,ITV3 HD

The ITV HD channels are a possibilty,Sky AtlanticHD probably is a non starter although its quite possible in my opinion that once Sky Atlantic goes into the paid for sky packs,the SD version could appear on vm at some point.:)

Virgin media are always in talks for channels they were for sky atlantic at launch!But surprise surprise could not get it ,so although they will always be in negotiations publicly,its wether sky think its worth it to them to have sky atlantic HD or for that matter the SD version appear on cable,history tells us that the SD version may well appear at some point,but sky like to keep a little something for themselves so they can say "get it all,but only on sky".

sky had no intention of letting vm have channel at launch why you think they spend millions on adverts well before launch saying it sky exclusive cant blame vm when sky witholding the channel there is more chance of vm getting it after sky change there packs next month vm were never going to get it before then

I agree with you but they are bound to want exclusives on their platform after all their TV is their flagship product.

yes thats why they spent millions on advertising it was a sky exclusive well it changes packs next month so vm got better chance of getting it not that bothered about atlantic myself but know lots want it so hope it comes for ones that wants it i rather have sky sports 3+4 and sky sports news HD thats what i voted for

Voted for the ITV channels, all the Sky channels along with Disney and Cartoon Network. I do fear some kind of increase in fees if we are successful though.

personally i would not object to a small rise to secure say another 6 HD channels ,but i would object to a price rise just to secure one extra channel that would probably be overpriced knowing sky,just my opinion though.

We may not see the price increase on the TV side this year due to Sky holding their until next September.
