Hi
Anyone else getting sound issues on sky sports 2 hd?
It's spoiling thefootball by breaking up every 10 seconds
Normal ss2 is fine

Had the same problem with both games on ss2 hd tonight, settles after a few minutes.

Yeah I was getting that earlier very annoying during the Villareal CL game and on the Barca v Real stopped now though.

Yes, just googled the issue and stumbled across this forum. Sound popping almost constantly on SSHD2 during the Spanish football last night so ended up watching it on SS2 as this was fine. Still doing it again on that channel this morning. Has anybody raised it with Virgin?

Yes i'm noticing it now on Arsenal v Liverpool , the sounds breaking up on Sky Sports HD2, but not on Sky Sports 2, this is Virgin's end come on get it sorted out.

Yes I have it now on SpHD2 too. Been like it all week on and off (inc. while watching Spanish Super Cup) since I added SportsHD to my Tivo package on Tues.

Earlier in the week I seemed to get it to resolve by selecting the program on one of the other tuners and/or stopping any recordings. But doesn't seem to fix now. None of the other HD channels have problem (inc. Sky Movies HD & Sky Sports 1 HD)

When I checked it earlier it was doing it on a non-Live program - rebooted, skipped round each tuner and seemed to resolve, but back again now having moved to a different channel.

Thought it would be strange to be at client end as other channels OK - so seeing others have the problem it is presumably at Virgin end. Does anyone have the same issue on non-Tivo though, i.e. standard V+ box? I haven't paid the extra £7 HD supplement for my second V+ box.

Happening here (Grimsby) too on SSHD2 but not on the SD feed. Quite annoying :(

We are aware of the fault, ref 1710798. This has been raised as a Priority 1 outage.

This can be tracked on the status page as poor sound on your VM tv service.

Happening for me too (Birmingham) on tivo. sound also seems slightly ahead of picture. get this everytime i watch football on sky. my brothers got sky and it is not happening for him so seems a virgin problem. edit - digital fanatic replied whilst i was typing. bloody smartphones ha ha

And happening here in good ol' Bristol. Not quite so frequent as every ten seconds. More like every minute or two.
