Wimbledon 2011

Anyone else watching the Tsonga/Federer game? Tsonga has come from 0-2 sets down to break in the first game of the 5th set.. Absolutely amazing..

Nadal will be Murray's semi opponent (that's if both win their quarter finals).. doubt is Tsonga will get pass Djokovic

Fantastic win by Tsonga 3 sets to 2 against Federer after coming from 0-2 down

That is probably the game of the tournament

Nah, he did the same in the mid 2000's (well that's what they said on the commentary ;) )

Re: Wimbledon 2011

Well one less opponent for Murray to face even though Federer is a legend.

Erm, no - he still has to play someone....

He hasn't got a bye.

I think there's a good possibility of it happening, Lopez is on his game and in a quarter final of a grand slam.. Also his current service game has been fantastic..

If Lopez can hold his nerve then Murray will struggle especially as he's now in the last British player in Wimbledon self destruct zone!!!

Must have missed that bit. I just caught the bit where they said he'd never lost going up 2-0 ;)

Injury to Murray's hip?? He's definitely being careful about it.

I'm looking forward to Nadal defeating Murray despite his foot injury.

How come your not cheering on Murray? He is 91% British after all. ;)

Andy takes the first set (7-5) against Nadal with a break of service in the very last game :D

Well earlys days yet but keep it up Andy.

Nadal has just broken Murray's serve to go 3-2 up in the second set.

Nadal leads by two sets to one, two games to love in the fourth set.

Shouldn't be too much longer ;)

Re: Wimbledon 2011

Murray has totally fallen apart but we have to remember that Nadal is no1 in the world.

Re: Wimbledon 2011

5-7 6-2 6-2 6-4 to Nadal, with Murray losing seven games in a row, as well as the match.

Nadal will face Djokovic in the final.

Re: Wimbledon 2011

After the first set Nadal just moved up a gear and showed what a great player he is as he blew Murray apart.

Yup. Nadal's in a different league to Murray. I hope he beats Djokovic.

I'd say more that Murray lost it after missing the chance to go 15-40 up and having 3 break points. Once he missed that shot which he should have easily put away he just wasn't the same player, his shoulders dropped and he didn't play anywhere near as well as he can.

That's Murray's problem, he's a great player, potential to beat anyone, but he's emotionally fragile. It doesn't take much to put him completely off his game and then he just makes error after error.

Murray is a very good player but perhaps you are underestimating the high class game that Nadal has and that is why he is number one in the world.

Quite. Nadal is very good at simply defending and getting the ball back into play. He makes very few errors so you have to win the point instead.

Not to mention that being seeded 1 and Murray only 4, Nadal was expected to win that match.

Though Djokovic will be 1 in the world on Monday.
