I collect ........ cats, Joy Cats that is and art work. I also collect Denbyware, the Green Wheat design. a piece of which you can see peeping out from behind one of my cats. John is a Netsukl carver and we have quite a collection of 18th and 19th century Oriental carvings that we have acquired over the years.

After errant son has been at them half of them are in his very strange, experimental tunings. It's like a lottery whenever you pick one up.

only a wee teaser of the latest because it's not done yet. This is a rough fitting of the hardware before strip-down, final tidy-up and painting. I've also made a scratchplate to cover the wiring channels. This is the one where the original billet split right down the middle

Now that is downright cruel. Like showing us a packet of flour and not the finished cake let alone what the icing looks like. https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2011/05/64.gif

Rock crystal, agate slices and egg shaped paperweights. Photos may follow when the lights better in the living room.

Stuff that i've previously collected, and still have but don't actively collect anymore include cloth badges(nearly all Scouting stuff), pin badges and marbles.

There's a fair bit of other gear kicking about in here as well. Off the top of my head: Korg M1, Yamaha Motif 6ES, Roland MKS70, Waldorf Micro Q and a myriad of VST's. There was a Prophet 08 as well but got rid because it never lived up to the hype. in the end.

Most of it gets used though. This is normally what gets gigged:

Some of the time we get them off of E-bay, But some of the ducks are now going for stupid prices. As there is a colour called SKY BLUE and the last 2 ducks in this colour have gone for £670 and £675. We have a few in rarer colours than what they are:confused:

The last duck that we sold went for £200 and we we only spent £6 on it (nice profit).

I know what you mean, If you look at the first picture that i posted on the last page? The green bottle on there is a very rare piece:D
One was for sale at auction a while ago but in blue and white with a estimate of £600 - £800. Have not been able to find out the final hammer price (if it sold?)

I quite often see Whitefriars Glass on the Auction site I use. One of the things I like about Adams site is that you can usually find out the Hammer Prices. Since he set up his own auction house he has had some very interesting collectables. I have also acquired a fair few extra white hairs when I take part in live Internet auctions. :D
