Please cite a source for this statement of fact. In other words, where does it say that we are currently paying for channels we are not receiving? As far as I am aware, in that I only know what's made public and am not privy to the actual signed contracts, we are getting precisely what Sky are contracted to sell to VM. I assume you can prove differently?

All? Most VM customers don't have a HD-capable STB, and most don't subscribe to Sky premiums.

Cinemoi is a subscription channel and Sky Arts 1 and 2 took a year to arrive after it was promised and they have still to deliver some of Skys on demand offeringss which was mentioned a year ago as well.

well surely all the on demand stuff it to do with tivo anyway, bulstering it up a bit. other than that, as denphone says, its take a long time to get art 1 & 2 in hd.

We are Moderators, not 'members of staff' - no renumeration is involved, our time spent moderating is voluntary, and there is no 'hymn book' (there is also no link to VM, other than unofficial contacts to escalate CF members issues).

First of all can l say you do a wonderful job as members of staff who give their time as volunteers to this forum also l did not state at any point that you or any other forum Moderator worked for Virgin.

So two kinda new channels ie HD versions of what you already have that took a year to deliver, an obscure ppv film channel and more repeats for the cumbersome, changes less often than the government on demand. Believe original poster was talking about channels, so as ever the oft trumpeted TIVO is as per a red herring:)

Let me use a simple analogy for you. Did you ever collect football cards? Now let's say my name is Sky and yours is Virgin, ok so far?

Say there were 200 cards in the collection, six months ago I had 198 and you , virgin had 12. Six months later you had added 15 and i had added 2, so you've added more than me, but who has the best collection?;)
