Wow -Excellent service-Skysports activation
Not often I say this about Virgin after numerous Issues with the broadband side of things!!
I decided to add the Skysports HD package for my M+ service for the end of season football play offs etc (only for one month) Did it by phone and it was activated within about 3 minutes. I was expecting something early next week :D Thankyou Virgin:tu: |

Just cancel the day before. Also, I would only add any extra Premium channels on the first day of my billling cycle to avoid confusing "partial months service" issues.

Yes thats a great idea as you can end up with quite a large monthly bill for your next bill.

My last bill date was 14th April. Ideally I need the package from 9th May until 1st June but I have it from today now. Whens the best time to cancel it?...sorry im getting slightly confused here..cheers

As I said, from experience, just cancel the day before. In your case, June 6th.

I'm not absolutely certain on this, so it's worth checking, but I think if you go over the month by, say, one day, you won't pay another month's worth, you'll just be charged proportionally for the extra day. You take premium services for a minimum of 30 days, not 30 days at a time.

Yes, that is true. But keeping it to mutliples of 30 days will ensure no "partial months service" bill confusion :)

l do not think Einstein can even work out Virgin,s billing system as my broadband is 37.00 and other parts of the bill are hard to understand as well.

I've had Vm's staff admit to me the bills are confusing, ive never seen anything like it, if the Nazi's ever rear their ugly heads and decide to have another go at taking over the continent they could adopt virgin's billing service as their new enigma code, no one would ever crack it.

l have been with Virgin for 11 years and their bills are baffling to say the least.

Now you're just baiting me again, aren't you? :p: I will say that mine is particularly un-complicated. Perhaps some others are a little more complicated due to special deals, etc. :)

Same here i got the sky sports in for a month but mine took 5 mins to activate i am not happy and might put a complaint in.
