No this is wrong ,they are not entitled to it and in no way shape or form do they meet the criteria for claiming any benefits .It is European law that allows it as they are doing the same to other countries so as far as i am cocerened it is just another reason to get us out of the EU

Once you leave the country even if just for a 2 week holiday in Benidorm you are no longer available for work so your benefits should stop once you leave UK soil.

UK Child benefit and tax credits are paid there (and elsewhere) too:

Of course you're probably free to work in Poland and claim their version of CB for your kids here but I doubt it'd be quite as worthwhile somehow. IIRC UK CB for 2-3 kids equates to a reasonable public sector salary in Poland so add tax credits on top and you're doing quite nicely thanks...

It's abuses like this that need to be stopped first and then look at abuses in this country. If this is all down to EU law then yeah i have yet another reason to want us out of the EU remaining only as a trading partner and nothing else with the EU.

The thing is i wouldn't class it as abuse because it is perfectly legal ,absolutely stupid,stark ravingly mad ,idiotic, as nonsensical as trying to nail fog to a wall ,but legal ,and i agree, a better reason to leave the EU you could not wish for

Fat chance of that happening. Lets face it we have lost control of most of our law making. We have to abide by EU law or be fined, We have to abide by the human rights act even if it means the criminal wins, We are but a door mat for the rest of the EU
