Well the time is almost here again and as many of you probably know last year Virgin Media messed up big time and forgot or didnt know that Wrestlemania aired live at 12am instead of 1am.

Hopefully this wont happen this year as the clocks are going forward a week early instead as on the same weekend like last year.

But if a similar thing happens this year and it says the event starts at 12:45am instead of 23:45pm, Virgin Media will loose money to send to Sky like last year when they refunded nearly everyone.

I've not watched wrestling for years however I watched The True Story of Wrestlemania earlier this week. Brought back some good memories. It's got me thinking about ordering the PPV for old time's sake.

Kayfabe was the unwritten rule that wrestlers should maintain their characters / persona at all times to maintain the reality for fans. This has been relaxed somewhat in the past 15 years.

In the 1980's the NWA would put all of their heels (bad guys) in 1 hotel before a show and all the faces (good guys) in another. They wouldn't even allow them to travel on the same plane etc...

I don't watch wrestling these days but still admire it's colourful, gritty and often humorous history.

The Undertaker vs. Triple H (No Holds Barred Match) is the true main event.

Do you think The Undertaker should ever lose his streak at Wrestle Mania or should it be allowed to continue until the Dead Man retires? Personally I'd hate to see him lose it. Nobody else will ever get streak like his. It's all part of the Wrestle Mania magic.

I hope they go for some double Countout or KO or whatever is appropriate for a 'No Holes Barred' match. Saying that they didn't bother for HBK so I imagine it will be 19-0.

HBK retire was up to him the Undertaker match last game was just an storyline to get HBK off WWE Telly plus give him one last big pay day.

Also who is Triple H Father in law?

Plus the Undertaker is an 46 year old man who has got to retire sometime.

To me the WWE would not be the same without the Undertaker, he has to be one of the most entertaining wrestlers they have! I think they should let him retire ( if he wants to) with his streak intact!

I didn't know whether to put this in the main Tivo thread or the WrestleMania thread but I guess it is a WrestleMania concern. There is NO Box Office on Tivo. At all.

I called the Virgin number this morning and was basically told tough, it won't come in until later. This is the second year in a row Virgin has stopped me ordering WrestleMania on Box Office after the disgrace of last year's inability to change a clock.

Fair warning to anyone expecting to get Tivo in the near future - if you have a Box Office event you want to see soon, don't hold your breath.

Sorry copy protected, I think this only come in last year for wrestlemania as 25 was not protected for some reason from recording off

Great the grief I had last year almost spoilt the event with nobody believing me when I rung customer support, at one stage I had 2 event reminders set one for 12:45 and one for 11:45 as someone realised at VM HQ that there were going to be a lot of angry customers.

i cound't even get it on one year. had to wait for the repeat the next day. They gave me my full money back. This Has happened befor with orther wwe events on ppv.

Virgin do like messing up.

No, only on the box you ordered on. if you purchase on another box, then you'll be charged twice.

This rule if for Live Special Events Only.

Just swapped the TiVo box for my V+ and ordered wrestlemania fine, just a 2 minute job;)
