Re: Ld:20?

Sounds like the box is knackered then, give the faults team a call on 151 from a Virgin Phone or 08454541111 from any other phone

Indeed, does seem a little sudden, some form of mouse hasn't chewed through your cable input wire has it? Could be a connections issue behind your TV

Re: Ld:20?

Ld20 means the box is getting no signal check cables just incase

Re: Ld:20?

ive had a look at the back of the box and the socket where the cable goes to in the back of the box is kinda loose :/

Re: Ld:20?

Need a fault tech then if it's the socket which is loose, unless it's tightenable by yourself

jb66 30-05-2010 21:37

Re: Ld:20?

Push it in and hold it and see if box boots up, if it's your own cable you'll get charged for call out

Hubby used to deal with techi things. In the back of the ntl box I have the cable and a scart. Should anything else be attached?

Only the power cable, but you must already have that to get Ld:20. Give VM a call.

ps. Welcome to the forum!

Re: Ld:20?

Thank you. All I have done is move it from one side of the room to the other:erm: Broadband still works fine.:) Will call them tomorrow. Don't use it much except for a bit of 'catch up' now and again.

If you have moved the box, check the cable from the wall socket is securely fixed at both the wall and the Set Top Box.
