Your All time favourite TV Character
Who is your All time favourite TV character or film character and why.
For me, it would be Andreas Katsulas, sadly dead, but best remembered as G'Kar from Babylon 5. A tribute to him is here. |

Not a character, but a presenter John Noakes (Blue Peter).
|
Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
The first person to come to mind when I read the thread title was Benny from Crossroads. His innocent childlike character has stayed with me all these years. :)

Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
Ya and he's so funny. Has he starred in anything else. I love the woman as well who plays his mother. She is comical and was very funny as well in Darma and Greg. I used to love that as well and the Guy was hot in that also. Come to think of it the woman playing the mother in both shows had two hot guys as her sons. Lucky thing :D

Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
He was the lead role in the Sci Fi hit Firefly that got messed around by the stupid yanks and canceled it however it was made into the movie Serenity
here is a full list :) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0277213/ |
Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
Castle & Firefly/Serenity would be the two things he's best known for (Castle more so now, probably).
Fillion-fans (& anyone else who likes cult TV, comedy, or musicals) should also watch Joss "Buffy/Angel/Firefly/Dollhouse" Whedon's Dr Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog, which starred Fillion as the super-hero "Captain Hammer" & Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser) as the wannabe super-villain "Dr. Horrible", along with Felicia Day as "Penny" (the girl they both want). Very funny. |
Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
What other programmes his he in that dont include Sci-F as I dont like them.

Is that still on now. Castle is the only thing that I have seen him in
|
Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
Firefly only lasted one season before Fox cancelled it. It did have a follow-on movie though called Serenity (zing did mention this above ;) ).
Definitely worth watching though. As gaz said, it's more of a Western in ways anyway than a SciFi series. I think we need to get back to the topic though, before this turns into a Nathan Fillion Appreciation Thread (although of course posts about Captain Mal or Richard Castle are on-topic ;) ) |

Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
'All time' favourite TV character is very difficult - I've been watching TV for over 40 years, in the end I have to conclude it is David Attenborough who has given me the most pleasure during that time ...
Others such as David Jason & Joanna Lumley deserve 'honourable mentions' :) |

Doctor Who in all his regenerations, but especially William Hartnell. I too also honour the memory of Andreas Katsulas, a fine actor.

Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
My Dad. He's only been on the TV once though, many (many) years ago.
Still my favourite, 'cause he's my Dad :) |
Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
I'll go with G'kar though to be honest many of the Babylon Characters are equally memorable and charismatic in their own individual rights.
some of the quotes at IMDb show just how brilliant they were.;) A great show. |

Re: Your All time favourite TV Character
Rigsby from Rising Damp. I loved Leonard Rossiter's Reginal Perrin too. A tad disappointed with Martin Clunes' effort although it was still enjoyable.
