Sorry to be rude (it is only the Daily Fail) but I don't see the issue here. Porn is the 2nd oldest profession behind prostitution.

buyers will demand it, models won't do it for free, and these models need to be recruited from somewhere.

And in this economy should we really scoffing at an opportunity to get jobs?

I wonder if the people objecting would rather someone approached women/men/couples in pubs and ask if they mind posing nude on a webcam for money. Surely everyone knows this exists on the net. These sites have to recruit people somehow, so a job centre/agency if the obvious place.

I was talking about this not so long ago. there's a lot of people that actually do this kind of thing already anyway for free as a 'hobby' and by this being publicised the way it is being. I reckon there's going to be a few takers for the chance of being paid for it now.

If somebody is hard up (excuse the pun, none intended) for a bit of cash and they`re going to be safe at home earning it doing what they want to do providing a service to those who want to pay for it,, why not?;)
As long as they stay safe and don`t give out their personal details, ie `phone number, address etc there`s no harm done really.:)

I can see your point of view, however - in the current society/econimic climate that we have, it would appear to be another non-job to prey on the vernable - Earn ££££'s per week / no outlay - but however the sign up fee is £750.00.

The sign up fee is omited until you actually sign of course, therefore your trapped.

Prostitution is legal in many countries apart from the UK, at the end of the day you are not going to stop prostitution but you may as well make it safer for the workers and the clients. But I fail to see the link between webcam voyeurism and prostitution. It's a quantum leap in logic that completely escapes me.

it offers the chance for people to earn good money without putting themselves at risk. they can work from home where it's safe and comfortable and get a pretty decent amount of money. good luck and fair play. i'm sure no one would disagree that one should always work with ones own strengths. if you're confident, articulate and attractive enough, use it!!

on a side, I fail to see how legalising prostitution will cause more problems than keeping it the way it is... the government will never be able to stop it. the least they could do is give these people a safe place to work with a regulated paycheck at the end of the... erm... session?
