Britain's Got Talent : Season 4

Is about to start this April, not sure what date.

Will we get another Susan Boyle?, i want someone to win with a real gift like a singing dog or cat haha if only.

P.S that year soon went.

Speaking of Susan Boyle on the corner of some newspaper on the right hand side it says she got 4mil for her birthday. Saw it on the corner of a paper that they were discussing on sky news a few mins ago

I've pulled her out of the show at the last minute, thought it might be better for her career if I entered her in a talent show instead :D

Sasha222 17-04-2010 21:23

Re: Britain's Got Talent : Season 4

Im wondering was this a set up that people would feel sorry for him and then bring him back on his own and then the audience would be so sorry for him that he would be loved by them and then the judges would put him through. Im mean he's going to do the same thing again that he done last year play the drums and he done that last year and never got throught to the final. What he should have done was put a group together his own age. He had a year to do it. He would want to do something exceptional this year to do a woo factor

And promptly gets slagged off by Vera Lynn, for not being old enough to remember the original.

I think it is a great thing and instead Vera Lynn should be happy that her music is spreading accross generations and is being appreciated by a new era of people.

Sasha222 19-04-2010 17:52

Re: Britain's Got Talent : Season 4

From reading that I think what she was saying is that it's a very emotional song to do with the war and would take an awful lot for a child to grasp the emotion of it. She also said that she would love to meet her to give tips on vocals which is a good thing and I would say chloe would love that. I would love to see her sing a song that would suit her for her age and see how she would go with that. She does have a lovely voice.

Flyboy 19-04-2010 21:06

Re: Britain's Got Talent : Season 4

But to have already decided that the child knew nothing of the emotion attributed to the song, sounded a bit like sour grapes. It was unfair to make that assumption. Flyboy11 has done some extensive work on the second world war and through his great-grandfather's documented experiences, has invested a lot emotional effort into the subject and to suggested that he knew nothing of the emotion would be inequitable.

I think this show needs to have a year or two break. It was awesome when it first started now its going downhill

I think it's gone past the downhill mark. I think the producers think that we want to see the really bad acts added in with a very few good acts and they are overkilling it now with more bad acts than anything else. Surely they was really really good acts in all of the thousands that applied.

It was awful to start with and has still managed to get worse.

And to make things worse, ITV are now repeating SuBo's story. I am not a SuBo fan..

Oh I'm so glad I switched over. If I had heard anymore of the Susan Boyle story I would have throwing something at the tv

You mean to the alternative load of talentless garbage that is known as the Eurovision Song Contest, the least aptly named television show ever.

I don't beiieve anyone watches Eurovision for the songs.. Graham Norton's commentary is quite amusing though.

Anyone looking forward to this tonight. This year nobody has really stood out and they have more dance troops than anything else

She sang good but not brill. I think she picked the wrong song

The problem is people see dance acts and think that must be what people want.
I want to see something different. Dance acts were last year. We need something unique and different and there isnt anything that great.

Re: Britain's Got Talent : Season 4

Diversity were fab last year and tonight they proved why they deserved to win. This year loads of dance acts tried to copy them and it just fell flat. The whole show apart from Diversity making a guest apperance were really thick. They should get rid now

---------- Post added at 21:48 ---------- Previous post was at 21:45 ----------

They should have told all those acts to go home tonight. Not one of them deserve a place in the final

This years line up is just damn right pethetic, a man cutting wood? a man eating light bulbs?, i expected it to be just as good as last year.

---------- Post added at 21:56 ---------- Previous post was at 21:54 ----------

And the man cutting wood got through! :O

I think what happened this year is that Simon was out sick for a few weeks and Amanda Holden Pierce Morgan and Louis Walsh had a free for all while he was out and put through rubbish acts just to annoy him. Result. We end up with the most rubbish acts for the semi finals

Simon said no to him and the other two put him through. Simon followed Amanda and asked why she put him through. He should fire the two of them because it's a dirgrace this year. Sat night I turned it after half an hour it was so bad. They put a pig through Sat night as well. Your one said that he could mime to some song. All she done was feed the pig and then play music and the pig was licking it's lips while the music was playing. I was even shocked to hear Simon say that he could see the pig miming

Give up the negativity! You are affecting my mood :D Just dont watch it lol I havent been keen on this years either but the live bits always better so give it chance. I felt sorry for the woodchopper man, he shouldnt have been put through and did his best, he was a bag of nerves. Tobias with the dancing ball was good, shame they didnt do something like that with that young lad from Warrington that won, he was a better dancer I think. Those gymnast dancer ones i wasnt all that keen on at the start of this weeks act but it soon warmed up and it was great to watch.

Singing acts really bug me on this, SuBo included. Why not go on a singing show like Xfactor. I want to see something different on this show not more people singing. How the hell that bloke did the trick with Amanda's ring I dont know, shame he didnt get through to see what he could have done in the next round

Believe me I would rather gauge my eyes out first than watch the rest of the rubbish they have lined up.

Calm down! The show may not be to your liking anymore but it isn't completely awful which is why people still watch it as last nights viewing figures show. You're always telling people to turn off Big Brother if they don't like it so you do that for BGT lol.
