New Years Resolutions?

How many members of this forum have made resolutions for this year and kept them.

I have no choice in keeping one, my dr has given me tablets to take for the next nine months, so l can't drink booze., So l have promised my wife to stop watching Tottenham (that is one promise l can't keep).:)

Move house, save money, stop smoking, eat more healthy, go to the gym, find a better paid job.

These are all mine, so far I have achieved none.

I resolved to stay off booze for 3 months to give my liver a chance to recover from what was an eventful year.

So far so good -although those pink elephants are becoming a bit of a pain. ;)

Last year my resolution was to buy a new car and I eventually did so on 31/12/09.

This year I have promised my husband I will retire, he's hoping I don't do it quite so close to the deadline this time. :D

I did that when I was 12. And it has lasted longer than any others I made.

- To start doing regular weekly running and rollerblading once the snow gets out the way.

- To find a girlfriend that isn't a psycho, crazy, person.

:bsmack:

No. Although knowing that Police stations have gyms in them will probably have some of the people on here foaming at the mouth about the blatant misuse of taxpayers money and how it proves the Police are lazy and in the gym when they could be out catching rapists and burglars.

I would point out the gyms are funded from wage deductions and not from the Police budget and you can't use them when working in case an urgent call comes out when you are mid exercise but they wouldn't pay any attention.

Besides canteen? What are they? Best we can hope for is a 25p cup of the horrible machine tea or a tea fund that needs locked away with an armed guard to stop it being 'borrowed'
