Remember tonight's thoughts

Just about now (seven o'clock) everyone will be getting there glads rags on, men putting on there best suits ready, women will make sure they have clean underwear on, in case they do something stupid, like dancing in the middle of the road, in preparation for the big bong.

Remember; LEAVE THE CAR AT HOME IF YOU DRINKING.
DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE
and make sure you don't get some stupid git that spikes your drink.
And the biggest thing is, if you go out, make sure your house is fully secure, as burglars don't take the night off, and lastly ENJOY YOURSELF, AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.:)

And spare a thought for people around the world who are suffering and have nothing, while you're out getting stupidly drunk for no reason.

lol@ Giving me negative rep saying i'm "preaching" , how pathetic, and from a mod if i'm not mistaken.

There will be no more talk of red reps in any discussion - and for the record and sorry to be the burden of bad news on this New Years day SB but mods are very much entitled to use the reputation system like everyone else.

Actually, I was out getting stupidly drunk for some very good reasons - I was with my family and friends (even my 18 year old son hung about until 1am, then went to his friends), and we were enjoying each others company, and having a good time, and we shared happy times and memories (and as we were at a restaurant, we were helping the struggling economy at the same time - I like to multi-task ;)).

It's OK for people to enjoy themselves without having to don sack-cloth and ashes, you know - it's about sharing the joy, not the misery (imho).

While I was 'in' getting stupidly tipsy, I was at the house of the 2 young girls who I'll be taking on as my own when I marry their mother as their own shower-of-'brown stuff' father wants nothing to do with them.

While I'd never regard them as being in suffering and 'having nothing', I hope my actions qualify me as being charitable enough for ya ;)

I went to bed. Sober. At 11.45pm. And this morning I am very happy. :)

Happy new year, everyone.
