The Ryanair aircraft from Dublin landed and then slid off the runway because of ice
Obviously the passengers didn't pay the extra charge needed for the plane to land on the runway.

That's OK, they're just being charged £20 for the bus back to the terminal...

I would never fly Ryanair,

If he's that much of a penny pincher you can bet he does the same with the maintenance of his planes

I'd never fly Ryanair. Never ever. They are as bad as Easy jet. When they mess up, i'm sorry sir, thats going to cost you £25. What the hell?!

Plus, how the hell, an airline has the cheek to charge for safety instructions is beyond me

Don't forget you can save yourself £1.00 by taking an empty bottle on board if you need a wee

Faced with an annual loss for the first time in two decades, Ryanair, the European budget airline, confirmed on Tuesday that it plans to start charging passengers for the luxury of using the toilet on its jets.

Sure his ways of advertising and making money can be argued with but being a regular flyer on ryanair I can assure you the planes are just as good as any other. In fact the majority of it's 737-800 fleet are approximately 2-6 years old. BMIBaby and indeed many national carriers have planes that are over 10 years old.
The planes need to meet the same requirements as all other aircraft operating in the UK and europe.
If you book early you can get some really good deals.
I agree you shouldnt be charged for certain services (eg. £5 credit card fee) but the flights on the planes themselves are good.

The plane that skidded on the ice could have been any plane.
