I've just read this myself. I've watched her in many films and thought she was a very talented actress because she played many diffrent role type's and stared in the small low budget films as well as the big hollywood blockbusters. Its such a shame. I am very shocked. R.I.P Brittany :(

is it even sadder that Twitter is where I first saw it being reported and thinking it was a sick joke because only TMZ were reporting on it? :erm:

RIP indeed, she was a great actress.

First films I remember seeing her in was Drive and Clueless. Both films I love.

Also she was in Blossom and Sister Sister, although only a couple of episodes.

Re: Brittany Murphy RIP

I read that she was taking drugs due to plastic surgery that she recently had, She was to was to young to die, but the sad thing is, that if you take drugs, and you have underlined helath problems, this can have tragic events, she was on a painkiller called Vicolin, and probabely took to many in a cycle. RIP

Re: Brittany Murphy RIP

You probably mean Vicodin (Paracetamol Hydrocodone mix), in USA they're currently trying to ban it

Quote:

On June 30, 2009, a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory panel voted by a narrow margin to advise the FDA to remove Vicodin and another painkiller, Percocet, from the market because of "a high likelihood of overdose from prescription narcotics and acetaminophen products". The panel cited concerns of liver damage from their acetaminophen component, which is also the main ingredient in commonly-used nonprescription drugs such as Tylenol.[3] Each year, acetaminophen overdose is linked to about 400 deaths and 42,000 hospitalizations.
