Most Annoying Christmas Advert 2009

(Sorry didn't know weather to post this in entertainment, current affairs or lifestyle!!)

OK - So it's started - what's the most annoying Christmas advert this year?

Mine so far is that Iceland advert with Jason Donovan.

I don't think I find any that are annoying before Christmas, but pretty much every advert from Boxing day onwards I do, from DFS (etc), magazines, Hoseasons, Creme Eggs, and anything to do with anything sales related which are normally repeated every 20 minutes.

The most anoying ad I saw was last year, can't remember the company but the ad said sale ends 5pm christmas eve.

Only one problem, It was 10:55pm christmas eve.:rolleyes:

Also the ads that get you to save for next christmas that appear on boxing day.

Perfume ads...they appear in droves at this time of year and the actors,perfumiers,ad producers are so up themselves...

It's just smelly stuff people,get over it....it's not going to make a user any sexier or more beautiful and they aren't going to be the centre of attention any more than usual for using the muck...:rolleyes:

You Can have an inexpensive Christmas.... A more relaxing Christmas... A bigger family Christmas, cause not only is every Sofa in the DFS winter sale half price... You can have it in time for a comfy Christmas....

One of the naffest Christmas ads in my opinion is the one done by Fern Britton's celebrity chef husband for budget supermarket Aldi.
I doubt very much Fern's Christmas fair will be supplied by Aldi, the only contribution to the Britton's Christmas from Aldi will be cheque.:)

Many DFS suites are made in Derbyshire by English workers using English goods supplied by English companies, one company that supplies DFS is White meadow upholstery in Huthwaite Notts, they've been working with them for the best part of 15 years.

The only part of the suite made abroad is the leather, DFS use leather from Italy but the suite is made in Somercoates in Derbyshire.

I think you are confusing them with SCS, World of Leather and Argos who use Chinese factories for their suites.

I tend to be running behind the schedule or watching recorded stuff so I can ff through the ads.

I did have a laugh at one I caught last night where the mud covered dog has a good old shake in the pristine white bedroom. In case you forget.... he'll remember was the tag for some doggy treat. :D
