Spooks season 8 starts tonight at 9pm on BBC1, anyone watching this?

The last series ended with Harry's kidnapping by FSB agent Viktor Sarkisian.

I strangely thought to myself last night it has been a while since the last series. I then saw it mentioned on another forum today, shame its not in HD!

I thought it was good. Excellent to see that they have pleased the fans by bringing back so that is great news.
I wasnt too gripped at first, but I'm sure I will get back in to it pretty quickly.
Next weeks episode looks good.

Although they have gone back to a theme per episode style, I wonder what will be the recurring theme this year. There is always something.

Malcom is awesome, and if he leaves the show it would leave Harry as the only remaining 'original' spook

I have just watched ep2. It was spooks how it should be... Malcolm's replacement is a young trendy-geek kind of kid.

I was thinking he had to be like that in order to be as far removed from Malcolm as possible. Although between the new guy and Malcolm, I can tell you who I'd rather have fix my laptop :D

Made sense that someone was going to die, what with Ruth returning. And doesn't she look a lot older? During her last run she looked slightly cute but boy does it look like time has caught up with her :disturbd:

I remember when the actor that plays Ruth (Nicola Walker) was in some police show with Robson Green some years ago and phwoar she was nice, and yes shes got some age to her now (shes only in her mid-late 40s)

Just when we start to get some character development with Jo and she was becoming a great character they kill her off! :mad:

They better get someone new in.
