Anyone else got blank screen Sky Sports and Movies?
 
Hi

About 11.15 p.m. I was watching the darts on Sky Sports 1 and the picture froze, I turned channel to Sky Sports 2 that was blank - same is happening on the Sky Movie Channels. All other channels appear to be ok? Tried switching V+ box off and back on - same result - no Sky Sports or Sky Movies. We did return a Virgin Media box to Virgin a couple of days ago (we had 3 boxes in total - my daughter in law just moved out so there was no need for one of them). I am wondering if Virgin have cocked up and done something to our account that has stopped the V+ box from receiving the channels?

Brilliant eh? I'm sitting there thoroughly enjoying the darts and all of a sudden picture freezes - change to Sky Sports 2 and blank screen, back to Sky Sports 1 - blank screen - I can't be bothered with it now - I'm going to head off to bed!!

well mines NOT back on yet,
it says in Technical Settings IPPV Status = Credit Suspended
I DONT pay for my TV or INTERNET if you no wot i mean,
but this is happening on 1 samsung 2100c and my other samsung 2100c works fine ???

Any Ideas guys

i pay for B.Band only and get my TV FREE and a couple of 20meg modems ;)

Why do people go to cable forums IF they pay for there services "FULLY" or "PARTIALLY"
when they could just ring the Cable Company up and get it sorted there and then ???

Sorry, but that is just naive.. You are assuming that VM (and in it's previous guises, NTL and Telewest) offered perfect service to their customers. They didn't. No company does.

Not everyone who has a complaint about the service they have received is obtaining services fraudulently.

Well, the new modem technologies they are working on will kaput your modem soon enough and the new STB Smartcards will kaput your stolen television services. Sorry for your losses. Ben.

As said my TV Services has gone (the unpaid ones) has anyway,
But i still have XL-BB Running downstairs (paid for) and upstairs (FREE)

There will be a mod for Nagra 3 anyway soon enough its NOT like we wern't expecting it ;)

Why don't you just invest in a router and share your XL, what's the point in stealing your own bandwidth by running a cloned modem :confused:

You're a div, it's people like you that are causing congestion issues and noise etc. on the network with your 5 x 20meg modems, nobody needs that much speed at all, it's just greed and not to mention completely stupid. Not many people need 50meg broadband that badly. It's just a complete disgrace, and DF I hope you're right, cause they need to go off the network.
