Youtube Account Disabled?

so i tried logging into my youtube account and come to find

When I try going on your channel it says 'This account is suspended' did you have any copyrighted material?

Oh dear, e-mither them and just tell them to remove the video and re-activate your account. Why they couldn't just delete it I don't know :(

They can if they

a) Have the legal right to do so (ie the record company or artist themselves), or
b) Don't get caught.

Many people upload music video's that are copyrighted to the record labels and artists. (not me I only favourite them and upload my own created content)

Well once one copyrighted thing is reported they check all your other videos for copyrighted content and have suspended your account because of repeat offences probably

No you wont get sued, some of my mates have had the same thing happen, it's crap and some have had to re-register

The public don't have access to it. This may not mean it's actually been removed (despite what the screen says).

It may be that they include the link so if you query the "deletion", you can send them the link, and they'll be able to see the offending video.

Not sure how it's an invasion of privacy when anyone can (or could) view what you have uploaded!!

YouTube will retain the rights to remove or censor any information hosted on their services (I would have thought).

As said earlier - email them, plead ignorance and see if they will un-suspend your account after removing said items - or just sign up with a differant account (and email address i would think)

yeah i thought it was fine because when people viewed the video it said at the side contains content from: ITV.
