PLEASE HELP-cancelled virgin media but want it back
 

I cancelled my Virgin broadband and I think I am past the 30 day notice so I am just wondering how I can rejoin virgin.

I have already emailed them 3 times and haven't got a response now for 4 days.

PLEASE HELP.

Can't I just join again as a new cutomer then and get one of there cheaper deals.

I don't mind the 12 month contract but I used to pay £20 for 2mb thats why I cancelled because I thought it was a bit too expensive, now I have changed my mind because Virgin is a lot cheaper compared to all the other broadband providers.

And that is why I want to rejoin but I don't think they will let me. (Thats all that I am asking).

If only had the broadband you could have upgraded to BB L 10Mbit for the same £20 price if you had wanted instead of cancelling

I thought that there had to be a period of time away from VM before you can rejoin as a new customer for thier deals, otherwise everyone would do it.

I did and o2 was £8 but I thought i'd join o2 after Virgin cancelled my broadband.
Now I found out that o2 requires a BT line and I really don't want a BT line.

Odd that. I had a conversation with VM yesterday where I said.
'
Me: 'You're saying I can't take the bundle because an upgrade is not a new service. So, in theory I could terminate one of my services and then take the bundle'
VM: 'No. you can't rejoin for 6 months. It's in our Tems and Conditions'
Me: 'Where? I didn't see that'
VM: 'It's not online'

So, was he lying about the 'secret' terms and conditions?
If he was, then it's a loophole that might resolve most people's anger about being punished for our loyalty.
Even if he wasn't, 6 months on Freeview aint that bad if it reduces my charges by £240 a year.

Same I can't rejoin for 6months and that's why i'm using my wifi now.

You can rejoin within 6 months!!! You just can't take advantage of any new customer offers for at least that period

I just tried again and yes they let me rejoin with their new cutomer offer(£15 for 10mb), thank you BenMcr, all I have to do now is wait until Monday for my new "high tech modem" to arrive.

If any of you know please can you tell me if the new modem will be a wifi router or just one of those wired ones.:confused:

Your modem will be just that - a modem.

Not a router, not a switch, not a kettle, just a modem ;)

I mean a wifi router Acathla. So you can use your internet connection around the house.
