Warehouse 13 : Season 1
 

A new sci fi TV series in the US on SyFy. It's about these 3 government agents that collect artifacts which posese supernatural abilities and then put them into a huge warehouse (warehouse 13, hence the title).

It sounds interesting. I've just watched the pilot and I think it could be interesting...

Sounds a bit like that series on the horror channel where a group of antique shop owners/have to track down items with supernatural qualities before they cause damage...

SJ games did do a GURPS supplement called 'warehouse23' which surprisingly enough was a book full of odd gadgets that 'they' had confiscated and were in a hidden warehouse... all you need for you modern day sci-fi adventure

That was not my view of it.

Not the best I must admit, but entertaining enough for me to watch a few more and see how it goes.

I enjoyed the pilot as it went (although I must admit the scene towards the end was a bit OTT, even for my slightly iffy TV tastes), but my initial feeling is that it'll get this series but not get renewed after that unless something changes.

Not the best pilot, but I enjoyed it. Something to fill the summer TV drought with.

Episode 2 was on a couple of days ago.

Big improvement on the Pilot, IMO, now the problem of setting everything up is out of the way.

Ep 10 this week (US). Dunno where the UK broadcast is up to, may have only had the pilot plus the one after?

I think this is actually very good now, certainly much better than it was at the start.

Plus the actress playing Myka is bloody gorgeous.

The pilot was on Sci - Fi last night, the missus and I just watched it and really enjoyed it. It's repeated a few times over the next week.

Love the guest casting so far this season :)

Tricia Helfer (BSG's "No. 6", Burn Notice's "Carla"); Joe Flanigan (SGA's "John Sheppard"); Eureka's "Jo" & "Zane"; Joe Morton (T2's "Miles Dyson" / Eureka's "Henry"); Mark Sheppard (TXF, Firefly's "Badger", BSG's "Romo Lampkin", Dollhouse's "Agent Tanaka"); and now Myka's father is played by none other than Michael frakkin' Hogan (BSG's "Col. Tigh").

Nice ongoing arc developing too.

Plus, of course, Myka is hot.

ive got 12 episodes? did they do a double starter?

Yeah, the pilot was double length. "Syfy" (I hate that name) treats the pilot as episode 1, "Resonance" as episode 2..."Nevermore" as episode 11.

The "scene" counted the pilot as two individual episodes, which means that the versions which some people may acquire :erm: are numbered 1-up on what they actually are.

Just started watching this, pilot was a bit duff but 2&3 have got better so I'm looking forward to the rest of S1.
