Eh its me again !
 
KEEP getting dead calls from this number ,had about thirty in last few weeks
01455233235, YELL SAY NO UK LISTING , IS THIS VIRGIN OFFLOADING SOME OVELOADS ON TO MY NUMBER.:mad:

The number though is Leicester/Nuneaton and not in any of the usual "who called me" listings

01455 is Hinckley Leics number

well I dont know what site it was on but I once read that phone companies do this for some reason when lines are blocked or summit , ah it was that consumer guys site ,whits hisname. I get loads of stupid calls, got one the other day saying that they could clear my debts so I told them I didn't have any cause i'd won the lottery haha :P

aye a know but its getting her aff her chair and away from the tennis , you don't think I waste ma time answerin them ? registered with the tps few days ago so see if that works.

Give them a call with 141 in front of the number and you will be anonymous and you will find out when they answer who they are and if they block anonymous calls so be it.

Dead calls are usually an automated dialer that calls a number, if someone answers then it gets put through to an available operator... Problem is that there's never enough operators so the call just gets left until either an operator picks it up or the person called puts the phone down..

Nothing to do with VM..Though OFCOM are trying to stop this type of dead call

Are you registered with TPS?

yes was registered at my last home and found it very effective , only been here 6 months and forgot to renew it
