You have to get a complete ring of dark circles around the cat, if the cat reaches the edge of the playing field it will run off and escape.

In about 10 goes I managed to do it twice

I'm at the point now where I can do it every time, took me 3/4 attempts to get the hang of it.

The secret is not to crowd the cat ;)

Sorry was chatting with my partner about another forums event as too we'd be the only girls there...it seems the two points got mixed up as the other post I typed goes instead of guys :rolleyes:

The secret is to make use of spots already there, build a perforated perimeter which you then close as required.

Some start positions are probably unwinnable.

Heh the first time i saw this game Maggy i did it within 5 minutes :)

I've managed..........................once, gonna try again now ;)

EDIT: failed :(

EDIT EDIT failed twice more then got it, I think you have to give space as has been said, also look at the dot arrangment, you can save 2 0r 3 dots in a line by careful placement

It's not that difficult really (unless you only get a few dots to start with). Start on the outside (as Rob said, don't crowd it). Also, the cat is fairly stupid. Leave some places for it to go that you can block off later. This will buy you time as the cat will go down a dead end (to be).
