Re: convertxtodvd
Are these "home movies" ;) of yours in AVI format? You need to join the two video segments first
|
Re: convertxtodvd
no you dont you add all files to convertx and it will automatically join them and create 2 titles in the menu. You can them use dvd2one to create a seamless movie only. Need more info on what files are on the cd
Open convertx drag both files into window set up under settings and convert I make multiple title movies using convertx regularly If you did want to join crop (ie timers ;)) or in anyway change the files I use TMPGenc xpress |
Re: convertxtodvd
thanks so just drag them in an convert is it cheers
|
Re: convertxtodvd
You can disable the menu, and put in the 2 half's of the avi. it will then convert them into a seamless movie.
|
Re: convertxtodvd
will still be 2 titles wont it?
TBH I do not mind running the finished encode through dvd2one anyway as I like the end file to be iso |
Re: convertxtodvd
i am sorry guys but I still dont understand how to do it,I get the two CDs in there but what next sorry about this but if you could explain a bit more cheers
|
Re: convertxtodvd
what files do you have? if they are .img or .iso you need to actual files off it what is you are trying to do?
|

Just untick the "include menu" then drop the 2 half's in, and away you go. this is what i do. |
Re: convertxtodvd
thanks they are just AVI files that needs to be converted cheers
|
Re: convertxtodvd

|

then when that/they is/are showing in the tree view insert the second cd & choose the 'merge more files to titleset' function for the file(s) from that disk. the hit the 'convert' button once all the files are shown in the tree view. |

trying it now, myself - have to say that 'adding' the files is easier than than the 'merge' option I mentioned earlier, but so far 2 cds are converting.. |
Re: convertxtodvd
Thats what I thought ,itconverted the first cd 1 then stopped then stared coverting the other one cd2 ,but when i burnt it onto a dvd it was in two parts halfway through the film it stopped and i had to start cd2 to finish the film ,it wouldnt go all the way through by itself cheers

Re: convertxtodvd

at the top click setting > menu > un-tick all the boxes and click ok. What i "used" to do before i could use my divx player/xbox360 was drag the first part "cd1" then drag over "cd2" and click convert, but i also had it set to burn once converting was completed, so this way i could go and do something whilst waiting, and when ah got back the film was ready to watched. |
Re: convertxtodvd
convertxtodvd3 thats what i got if you show me step by step would be great cheers

Re: convertxtodvd
I'd definitely recommend a divx dvd player. you can get them for like £20
you can put more films onto 1 dvd, and you also save loads of time. |
