Re: No internet...
Could you post your power levels & SNR from your modems configuration page. You can access it by entering 192.168.100.1 into your address bar.
User name & password is root should you be asked for them. |
Re: No internet...
Just nipping to mine wont be long
|
Re: No internet...
Make a note of what the lights are doing, which are off, flashing etc.

Re: No internet...
Code:

Re: No internet...
Upstream and downstream say locked. Looks network related to me :)
Check the status page and if its not listed there give VM a call. |
Re: No internet...
The internet went off around 1 in the morning (UK), then came back on at 5 in the morning then went back off and has been off ever since... might give them a call when i get back...

Re: No internet...
I hate to ask, but have you actually tried rebooting the modem and/or routers? Just unplug from mains power for 30 seconds.
My internet also went off around 1am, in the middle of a skype call to my gf! But a power cycle of the modem and router brought it straight back (good job or technical support would have been getting an irritated call ;) ). |
Re: No internet...
Network Access : Denied
|
Re: No internet...
Yep, looks like you've been cut off, not been naughty on the VM newsgroups have you ;)
|
Re: No internet...
Proberbly a mix up their end again.
|
Re: No internet...
It looks like they've sent a config file to your modem which denies network access (based on the fact it says that, and the config file shows 32000 downstream and upstream)

Re: No internet...
hes taking the **** that looks like a log from a cloned modem

Re: No internet...
How so you know its nothing to do with DHCP hammering?
I seen your PM, well its title, I deleted it before reading, your friend request was also rejected. I have no desire to befriend you or converse with you via PM. Mocking your lack of knowledge and challenging your hax0r skillz on a public forum is different. |

because in the web admin the log is not slayed out like that in virgin supply modem but it is in a mod`ed modem |
Re: No internet...
Sorry I don't understand what you mean. I'm not about slating your spelling, so take your time posting back and be as descriptive as possible please. Add links if you need to.

the log of a genuine modem from virgin dont look like that. but it does in a hacked modem with hacked ****wear cant post a screen shot or they will do backflips on forum and the error in log indicates that some made a simple mistake when they hacked it. all so what lights are on indicate same as well and if you now as much as you make out your know what i mean. |
Re: No internet...
Yes I do know what you mean and you are wrong, the log from a modem with modified firmware and VM locked standard firmware would look the same if the modem was in a canceled state. This canceled state could be through not paying the bill or denied access due to DHCP hammering.
Sorry your argument of "its a clone" has not been proven nor do I think you can make that claim based on the logs. |
Re: No internet...
big hint
"Config file does not include a valid CVC" I cant explained it here in forum because of terms and condition and you wont read a pm pluss he got no rx or tx light that al tell me it one of two posible modems and he made a simple mistake with something and exactly what version of firmware |
Re: No internet...
I know this guy doesn't steal his services
http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12...they-done.html I know what your getting at with the TFTP ;) Some reading for you: www.adamsglobal.com/FileUploads/Firmware1.pdf http://www.cablelabs.com/specificati...I06-080118.pdf Still no proof that the OP is using a clone |
