Torchwood season 3

Torchwood news...

No full 3rd season :(

Instead next year will have a 5 part mini-series, running through one week.

http://community.tvguide.com/blog-en...on-3/800040744

So no full DW series next year, & now no full Torchwood series :(

Bah - rubbish.
:(
Torchwood and Dr Who are two of the few programs I'm happy to pay a license for.

here

Some more news on the season. For those of you who saw the Dr Who finale where it hinted at
Spoiler:
Martha being at Torchwood
, it looks like it won't be happening.

I think the production team in Cardiff need a rest. With Who, Torchwood and SJA all going full pelt, they've had virtually no time off for almost five years now.

Oh thank goodness for that!

MJ looks pretty, but I don't think Freema Agyeman is a good actress. Having Catherine Tate (who actually *can* act) as the next assistant after Martha has shown that.

I always think of her as walking around with a permenant "Duhhhhhh" expression.
Medical student come doctor come UNIT operative she does not fit.

No idea.

I'm not fussed about Martha not being in it. She was a bit lame tbh, IMO.

Did everyone see John Borrowman on the Beeb last night?

It was a documentry examining his sexuality - a lot more interesting than it sounds and involved MRI, brain scans, pyschologists and even measuring his fingers.

Funniest thing was that everytime he talked to his parents his American accent was completely replaced with a broad Scottish accent - it was like watching David Tennant when he drops his Dr Who accent.

Filming for the third series of Torchwood has begun in Cardiff.

The series – called Torchwood: Children Of Earth – sees the team embarking on a single action-packed adventure as they battle for the future of the human race against the fiercest force they have encountered.

Torchwood Season 3 (Children of Earth)

We don't seem to have a thread for this, so..

After the excellent series 2, they've cut series 3 down to 5 episodes and one story. Looks a good one though.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchwood/

The new series begins with every child on earth between 6 and 11 stopping dead simultaneously for 6 seconds. This cause a lot of accidents, and Torchwood investigate. When it happens again, the children say "We are coming"..

Re: Torchwood Season 3 (Children of Earth)

According to http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchwood/

Torchwood will be back on BBC One at 9pm later this year.

So if we all tune into the bbc at 9pm every night this year we should see it :)
