Price difference between 10mb and 20mb.
If I were to upgrade my connection package from 10mb to 20mb how much extra will it be a month?
I saw it's only £4 a month but I think that might be wrong so... |

I was actually told, by a senior member of VM, that if you was on XL package, and on 10mb, this would be changed to 20mb WITHOUT extra charge, that is probabely, why my BB is so slow, its a pain in the backside

4Mb / 10Mb is size L, 20Mb is size XL! |
Re: Price difference between 10mb and 20mb.
Cheers guys :) Now I have to decide if the extra speed is worth £12 a month

What, exactly, do you think is the reason for your slow connection, as your post is confusing? - as said, the XL package is already 20Mb, for example .... |
Re: Price difference between 10mb and 20mb.
my neighbour managed to get from 10meg to 20meg for £31 per month from haggling, but in the end he decided to get XL BB, XL TV and L Phone for £48 (£47 with ebiilling) per month.

Re: Price difference between 10mb and 20mb.
Still debating if I need 20mb. I properly don't, but it's nice to be able to download things even quicker.
What's the average upload of a 20mb connection? |

Depends if you want to download anything quickly while your asleep. :) |

mmmm, not great but better than the 200kbps I get..
---------- Post added at 18:50 ---------- Previous post was at 18:49 ---------- Actually, My speed seems to go down to around 3/4 mb in the evenings. I wonder if 20mb will improve/stop that? |

Re: Price difference between 10mb and 20mb.
Could I take my speed now, as a percentage of the advertised speed, and relate that to what I could expect from a 20mb connection?
I.E If I get 8-9mb on average from a 10mb connection. Could I expect 16-18mb from a 20mb connection? I really want to ensure I know what I am going to get for the price.. |

Yeah, But I presume your in a great area? I only get around 8/9mb out of 10 (not that I am annoyed at that).
