+1 channels

? how come when it comes to VM we dont get most of the +1 channels that Sky does ? also we're missing TCM2 amongst others.

Re: +1 channels

i think VM don't have the capacity at the moment to carry on the +1 channels that Sky have.

Re: +1 channels

To be honest there are some channels on Sky that are a complete waste of bandwidth and I'm glad they aren't available on VM.

With V+ being available why do we need +1 channels? I'd prefer to get rid of them all and use the bandwidth for other channels

Even with V+ there are times when it's necessary to record form the +1 channels to avoid clashes. Plus, what about those of us without a V+?

and i'm sure someone will argue even with +1 there are occasions when you cant record everything. I know lets suggest +2 channels ;)

ughhh, what are you talking about???

You dont need a HD TV for V+. As there is very little HD content anyway that wouldnt be much of a reason to take V+

doesnt cost me anymore than non V+

better than recording to tape or DVD (when id forget to set it)

and would have been cheaper for you getting sky freeview ;)

Re: +1 channels

i get DVDr's for peanuts so thats not a problem & i have Sky FTV & Freeview cuz i like my news channels, which VM is lacking in.

So why did you choose to quote only half of the above statement.

This is a pointless debate, there are alternatives to +1 you choose not to use them so live with it:rolleyes:

Going by other threads the problem isn't with Wicked_and_Crazy.

How about sticking to the topic instead of petty arguments with each other.

I think you're asking the wrong question, given the known bandwidth restrictions. The question should be 'Why are VM bothering with all those +1 channels when they could be giving us Channel 4 HD and TCM2?'!!

you completely misunderstood what i was saying.
