Your song

Do you have a special song - maybe a reminder of someone, something, a place, or a certain time. Or maybe just a song for you - as if written for you.

I have Radiohead's "Creep" - nuff said :tu: I can't listen to "Help me make it through the night". Had a neighbour who played it at about 02:00 in the morning. Kind of ruins it. Just makes me want to kill.

There's a song, that I find to be so deep, with meaningful lyrics - that always awakens feelings in me.
It's a song that means something to everyone, and I don't think anyone can hear it without feeling a stirring within their heart.

Yes.

It's The Macarena

Re: Your song

Guilty pleasure - Hands To Heaven (Breathe) - reminds of a time in the late 80's when my marriage was having "issues", and a close friend of my wife offered comfort, but I realised that my wife's happiness meant more to me than anything else.

I still believe I made the right decision.

One of my favorites, love 80's films tracks. From Mannequin.

Re: Your song

Lisa Stansfield (actually anything by LS, but mainly Been Around The World). Had an ex-girlfriend who played LS's records every chance she got.

Another song that I remember is the rather ironically named "Never Be The Same Again". I say "Ironically named" as I was in a restaurant once (actually a Thai restaurant which was actually very good, but now sadly defunct) where they had that song on repeat play on the CD system for 45 minutes. I asked several times, but the waiters didn't appear to understand when I asked them to change the song.
