how to pull a bird (girl)?

how would u pull a bird(girl)?
whats ur best chat up lines?

Re: how to pull a bird (girl)?

no chat up lines........ just go up, chat about anything & everything. ask questions and remember what was said.

find out names:
hers & remember it
her friends that are there and remember them.
trick is to put all names in early, e.g.
so Lucy, where are you & your friends from?
Really, so Samantha & Jane don't come from Runcorn like you do Lucy?
Where did you all meet?
Ah I see so Jane was a uni pal of your Lucy, and Samantha is Jane's friend..... I am with you now.
Sorry what was that Lucy? your friend Jane wants to meet my pal Mark?

ok so the chat wont go like that, but keep using their names as you will remember them, there is nothing worse than chatting to someone who you like they told you their name and you have just forgotten them, always remember....... be quietly confident but not over confident. but most of all just chat and be yourself, as you want to find someone who you might want to spend a good bit of time with, so you and they need to find the right person for each other.

It's not easy and I hate it,

But just chat, try and find out early doors if she with someone, then if so, stay for a few mins then subtly say nice talking to you.

you can find out a good few things when a girl opens her mouth what you could say, listen for accent, how happy she is, bored she is, you will know a lot before you speak to her with her body language as well (I love reading body language, its fun)

"hello my name is ........, what is yours?"
"pleased to meet you ........."

the rest will come to you when you are there......

Get them drunk enough, so that you can fly to vegas and get married by Elvis.

Works for me.

---------- Post added at 07:24 ---------- Previous post was at 07:07 ----------

I actually had a friend whose method for chatting up girls was to wait outside the toilet and then when someone came out, ask them if it was a number 1 or a number 2.

---------- Post added at 07:26 ---------- Previous post was at 07:24 ----------

oh yeah - not calling them birds would probably improve your chances :)

get yourself some good chat up lines such as;

Be unique and different, say yes.

It's your lucky day - my girlfriend dumped me last night, so I'm back on the singles market.

You have the sexiest ankles I've seen since I got back from Saudi.

Hi, the voices in my head told me to come over and talk to you.

Wow, your eyebrows are thick

Here is £20. Drink until I am really good looking, then come to talk to me.

Pick and chose from above, for the circumstances, and you cant fail!

A good start I reckon would be to not call them 'birds'. Also have a look at www.topdatingtips.com

That would depend where you are from and how old you are, girls frequently use the term bird now.

but keep using their names
I personally find that very creepy, very quickly! Not in sales by any chance?

Its right though no chat up lines, break the ice somehow and then just talk

This is sometimes easier said than done, but I find that just talking to them works. If you are gonna get anywhere, you will. If you don't, then there are other girls.

One thing I tend not to mention immediately is the fact I work with computers.. I've actually had one girl I was getting on with run away screaming when I mentioned that.

Actually, in that case, I can't blame her. The last guy who was talking to her (and I know because I was standing near them, and moved in when he went to the loo) was proudly boasting how he worked as a sys admin for a Central Government mainframe and actually managed to throw in the fact that he personally managed several terrabytes worth of storage, while the poor, hapless girl (who had no real interest in computers beyond the fact that she used one from time to time at work), was looking increasingly desperate to get away from him.

not in sales at all, I cant sell a thing. I cant stand sales, but I am a bit forgetful, so I think best way to deal with it, is say their name a bit. keeps me reminded of their name.

No its easy, it makes the drink go blue now... How hard is it to find a girl driking WKD?

The best place to start a conversation is at the bar in a busy pub/bar/club works every time.

Oh and showing them a picture of my dog is a good one, probably not if she as a stinky mongel or a staff though.

Very true.

Even more appealing is once you have broken the ice so to speak, is to ask the girl about herself and LISTEN to the answers.

That's just it. I've only met a couple of women who are programmers that I fancy. I tend to meet a lot of attractive students who program, but I can't get a clear answer on whether the University rules about staff having relationships with students actually apply to me, so it's best if I don't try. The rules are rather convuluted, and, AFAIK, only apply to the staff involved in grading student work, but I don't want to test that..

I dont use chat up lines, I know this wont work for everyone but it works for me for some reason. I just go up the the lady in question and come up with something to break the ice even if it something like "I like your top" it seems to work.

Oh and when I'm asked what I do for a living I work in radio (ok I dont get paid for it but it sounds cool ;))

And gave him one hell of a temper, as well as the ability to run at great speed..

Still, the speed would be an advantage if you have to run from the boyfriend/fiancee/husband of the woman you have just chatted up..

Re: how to pull a bird (girl)?

Angua nailed it in post 18.

Personally whenever anyone has used a chat up line on me I've been INSTANTLY turned off.Chat up lines show you are trying too hard and are desperate for anyone.

Better to talk normally and discuss the venue, the weather, the music, admire her taste in clothes, or the occasion at which you have met. It's also nice if you can just introduce yourself or get someone to introduce you.Be honest and say that the person caught your eye and you thought they looked like someone you could be friends with..

It just takes a little courage to step over that space with embarrassment stamped on it.However being normal will take you further once you have made that first step. The girl is probably as nervous as you.If she isn't and is one of those chumps that know they are God's gift and you are a dog turd beneath her feet well you are better off if she gives you the brush off 'cos she's not worth knowing.

Remember! Chat up lines are for creeps.:td:

Good luck!:)

Never had this problem in Oldham, most of the women seem desperate and when you see the others who have a bloke you realise they are also really desperate.
Best to bring a stick with you to beat them off but if you don't get the come-on in Oldham simply give up, there is no hope for you.

There's a site that explains it better than I could, but unfortunately it contains swearing [not on the main page, but on other pages], so I can't link to it. Re: how to pull a bird (girl)?

I have never had to persue women in my local, they are always the ones making the move.

The one thing I notice is the guys who go sleazing around the pub trying every woman, what woman is going to touch them if they see they have tried every other woman first. We have names for a few in my local, and I find they actually help me attract women. A sense of humour is a must, if you can make them laugh you have one leg in their bed.

We have one guy I nicknamed 'The Snake' and everyone knows him by that now, he comes in on his own and is constantly seeking out his prey. He has been given a good smakck by blokes a few times for pestering their wives/girlfriends. Many times I have had women come and stand by me because he is harassing them.

A few months ago I had a mother and her two daughters stand by me because he was hassling them, as they were stood by me he was looking all of them up and down.

I said to the three of them who can blame him, he is thinking the same as I am ' He is deciding what order to go through the 3 of you':D

Get a Bike and start treating them like **** :D

A strategy that I have found quite effective lately is the following: Walk up to the most attractive woman in the place and point to the fattest/uggliest bloke in the place. Then you say: Did you know that's Mr_Love_Monkey? The rest is easy :)

That's my problem, I'm too nice to them. I'm going to have to make an effort to be a bit less nice though. Not nasty really, just as soon as I realise they're just using me & have no intention of being anything more than just good friends then I'll tell them to get lost.

To give birth takes a few hours of her time, you'll be paying for the child for the next 18 years :p:

Probably in a specific place to ensure that he never experiences anything to do with childbirth.

Re: how to pull a bird (girl)?

"BIRD" eh?

I once went out with a girl that didn't like to be called "LOVE" - we'd be on the phone and I'd say "ok, love" and there would be this pause followed by "no, I REALLY DONT LIKE THAT - dont do that, it really bugs me."

Eventually I said "ok, I've had enough of this what do you want to be called then?"

reply "call me bitch". followed by sniggering.

so in all future phone chats I would end the odd comment with "bitch" and there would be this sound on the other end of the line like "mmmmmm" - as if she was getting off on it!

You're forgetting the 9 months of seeing how much they can get away with in terms of either avoiding stuff they're perfectly capable of doing, or how nasty/bitchy they can be & just say "it's the hormones, it's your fault I'm like this" without you telling them off for it.

Pregnant doesn't automatically mean spoken-for. The father might have done a runner as soon as he found out, or the pregnancy could be the result of a 1-night-stand.

As I said, women get it, but men are the ones who suffer from it. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/alien42/smilies/pms.gif

On the original subject of chat-up lines, I just came across this lot whilst clearing out 1 of my email folders.
Quote:

Science fiction/geek pickup lines

- "Someone must have shot you with a phaser set on 'stunning.'"

- "I can't help it -- my eyes are trapped in the gravitational field of your
breasts!!"

- "Nice Asimov."

- "Not only can I beam you aboard, I can beam you a woody."

- "Earth woman, prepare to be probed!"

- "I'm the droid you're looking for."

- "Is that a spare Vulcan ear in your pocket or... well, I'm just asking
because some jerk in the parking lot pulled off one of my Vulcan ears."

- "Hey, baby. I own Microsoft."

- "Your mouth says, 'Shields up!', but your eyes say, 'A hull breach is
imminent.'"

Want to know the best way (This worked for me):

Get to know them (ask them what their likes/dislikes are)
Let them know that they are the only thing that matters and that they will always come first
Dont rush into things
Tell them that you wont force them to do anything they dont want to.
Tell them that you will only do things when they feel comfortable

LOL, no, I got my nickname mostly due to being a loner with a strong interest in sci-fi. For the sake of humour &/or because I've got nothing better to do, I'll respond to some of the points on that page.

Quote:

Abduction "Checklist"//Are Aliens Negative From Our Point-Of View?

If "abduction" reports can be believed--and there is no reason to doubt the honesty of the reporters--the abduction phenomenon includes the following details:

1) Aliens can alter our perception of our surroundings.
Does supplying alcoholic beverages count?

Quote:

2) Aliens can control what we think we see. They can appear to us in any number of guises, and shapes.
I wish!

Quote:

3) Aliens can take us--our consciousness--out of our physical bodies,
It's not my fault if they're used to males that would have difficulty locating a certain part of the female anatomy, even if supplied with diagrams & written instructions, & then don't know what to do with it if/when they do find it! :D

Quote:

4) Aliens can be present with us in an invisible state and can make themselves only partially visible.
If only, then I wouldn't need to loose any weight. :(

Quote:

5) Abductees receive marks on their bodies other than the well-known scoops and straight-line scars. These other marks include single punctures, multiple punctures, large bruises, three- and four-fingered claw marks, and triangles of every possible sort.
I'm kinda partial to the giving & receiving of "love bites", & might be persuaded to leave some nice red handprints on their bottom if they ask nicely. :naughty: Beyond that though, no.

Quote:

They also inject unknown fluids into various parts of our bodies.
'Inject' isn't the word I'd use, & I'm fairly sure it's not unknown to them. ;)

Quote:

These have led to surgery, debilitation, and even death from causes the doctors can't identify.
Nope, sadly my ex continues to be a waste of oxygen [AFAIK - haven't spoken to any mutual aquaintences in quite some time].

Quote:

10) Aliens show a great interest in adult sexuality,
No more so than most average adult males do. :)

Quote:

and in inflicting physical pain on abductees.
Only if they ask nicely. :naughty:

Quote:

11) Abductees recall being instructed and trained by aliens. This training may be in the form of verbal or telepathic lessons, slide shows, or actual hands-on instruction in the operation of alien technology.
Does improving their computer literacy count? ;)

Quote:

14) Abductees--"virgin" cases--report being taken to underground facilities where they see grotesque hybrid creatures, nurseries of hybrid humanoid fetuses, and vats of colored liquid filled with parts of human bodies.
I believe the closest translation to what you Earthlings would say is, "Ewwwwww!"

Quote:

Some abductees have been threatened that they, too, will end up in this condition if they don't co-operate with their alien captors.
I've sometimes wondered if that might improve my appeal to them, judging by the kinds of guys they tend to prefer instead of me.

Quote:

18) Aliens perform extremely painful experiments or procedures on abductees, saying that these acts are necessary but give no explanation why.....Painful genital and anal probes are performed,
Completely untrue... I ask nicely, & offer to use lubrication. :D

1. tell me I'm not their type
2. tell me to http://homepage.ntlworld.com/alien42.../censored2.gif off

How about another angle?

Can we assume that all girls who are out there in clubs n bars actually want ot be "pulled"? They might just want a quiet night out with a mate. It must be a real PITA for girls who feel pestered and leered at all the time.

But then, it depends on why you might want to "pull" a bird. do you want to bed her for the night or do you want something less shallow?

If you are looking for lurrvvve then bypass all the drinking, chatting and clubbing scene and skip along to an on line dating agency. There are som really great people to meet on there and its isnt stuffy fashioned as it once might have been. also you or they are not "desperate". You are just focussing more closely on what you want.

Unless the girl is telling you she wants a one night stand then any of these "My jeans would look good on your floor" lines are a no-no as they show you want just one thing.
If you want a long term relationship, take it easy, go out somewhere together, and don't push things too quickly.

Re: how to pull a bird (girl)?

I have been out on the pull since I was 17, I am now 34, I still can't pull, I don't like all the crap, the stupid games and tricks, either they like you or they don't, its stupid to try and manipulate someone subconsiously like a salesman to try and make them like you.
I would want someone to like me because they like me not because I am good at tricking people into it with pyschological pulling techniques like the pick up artists (notice the word artist) its an art and it shouldn't have to be, why can't people like someone naturally.

I go up and see Hi, after spending the whole night working up the courage, but they always either turn away quickly so I am left facing the back of their head, or look at me like I am from another planet.

I am not too bad looking, I always go out well groomed, dressed nicely and smelling nice, I am always polite.

This is hopeless.

Gawd knows why you say that. You have all tha agro of having to pull a bird too, but have a small fraction of the population to aim at. It must be thousands of times harder.
